People should be able to make suggestions without being talked down to. It's a suggestion, same thing as bug reports.

You are in OP's own thread, to discuss OP's own mod. You've said what you have to say, leave it alone? But no, it's 2 pages of you 2, playing mental gymnastics. yes i thought this guy was chill but then watched him act like a 60 year old man explaining why he cant sell you the car in his yard that is just a pile of dust. then he started yapping about not posting modded files which ive never hadtrouble with anyone else despite the fact this mod is built entirely off models he didnt make. just not very mature behavior really

I really appreciate the mod, I do, but you guys are being insufferable. You cannot handle people asking for additions to your mod, citing "just mod my mod lol", then you get mad when people offer to post fixes you can use for free on said mod. What the hell are you doing? And your circlejerkers aren't any better. Imagine citing paid mods being the problem in the beam community when paid mods are the same as this thing. The only paid mods worth your money are LJ74's, and, those mods are DIRT CHEAP. 3 damn dollars. You people can't afford 3 damn dollars to support actually well made mods, but you invest all your energy and time into defending a relatively buggy Oldsmobile that was meshslapped on to a Bluebuck. Agree 100%, I offered a bit of assistance with vehicle handling and all I got back was a lash-out. The mod is great itself, I love old landboats like these and happily use it, but you seriously need to stop taking criticisms and bug reports to heart so much. It's not soiling your image or making angry comments, it's providing feedback. Except the people that mentioned the column shifter 72 separate times, that would also annoy me a bit
lol I don't know anyone here, I have no one to glaze. But by all means you can keep coming up with things and write another essay if you like. My POINT is, it's their mod. They do what they like. You don't "call people out" because they said they don't want to add anything to their mod. Even if they are wrong or LaZy, you don't see how entitled that is? You leave your suggestion & go about your life. If they said no, which they did at the start, leave it alone. I just don't get it.. People arguing over a malaise era Oldsmobile mod. Idk about most but even just seeing people argue drains me out quickly and every time I look at this thread, it just pisses me off.
Hey, everyone was really unexpected to see all the intense conversation above and would like to state from my point of view that we should all focus on our things more rather then criticise each other, since Beam community is considerably small and lacks high qual mods compared to corsa and other games. Remember the author have created the mod and decided to share it with everyone on free basis and people that are heavy on critics and problems they find don't give any useful feedback at all when they keep mentioning same stuff for 5 times in a row or focusing just on fixing/adding their preferences. If you wnat something does not mean one owes you it and what one find important does not mean it is important for all. Now, for the guys focusing on OP being too egocentric according to few writers above. It’s not that Op is selfish and egocentric it’s that your fragile egos can’t handle anyone who doesn’t orbit around your unmet expectations and "suggestions". That’s not insights and reports that’s textbook narcissistic defense, poorly disguised as moral judgment. Next time you throw a label, make sure it does not apply for y'all. Without guys who act like you this community would be such a better place and most of the modding community would not decided to move their creations to discord/telegram/gumroad etc. So whenever I hear that beam modding overall sucks first things that come to my mind is how little content there are on an official forum and what is the reason behind it. Do not mean to offend anyone there, just sharing my point of view how things are developing. Peace.
At least we have an american car from the 1955-1975 era since most of the people on beam want european, japanese and american cars from the 1976-present era
