but seriously, do you think we will ever get a new Soliad vehicle?* *between this year and the moment the Sun turns red
I swear I remember the Anole as like a WIP mod from like 2018... maybe it's just some Mandela effect type shi like Graggle Simpson.
on 3/29/2021, we got the Wendover, and on 7/4/2023, we got the Lansdale, which is a two-year difference. this message was posted on 7/15/2025, and it has been two years since we got the Lansdale. therefore, you may be right
Let's not forget that the Wendover was revealed all the way back in December of 2012, almost a decade before it was added. The car didn't get voted into the game by the community and underwent a multitude of design changes (such as the body style being switched to a coupe instead of a sedan) by the time it was teased in 2020, so it's possible we could've had the Wendover way before.
woah thank you for context it was on a tiktok stating lost media from the game, so i shared it upon here thinking it might of been a possibility. Apologies for the confusion!! @LegThePeg 4days ago actually lol Below is the link; https://www.tiktok.com/@space.flightsim/photo/7525855252613057814
Wouldn't be surprised if someone on TikTok claimed BeamNG will make a new vehicle called the Ibishu Toilet (TikTok is trash okay?)
looking at the account's other videos, one claims a pixellated video of the pre-remaster drift 200bx to be a "lost mod from 2016" and another claiming to have "BeamNG on IPad". Whoever's running this account appears to be working off the old adage "My source is that I made it up"
Cloud gaming doesn't count imo. That's like if I said I Hemi-swapped a totaled Saab because it was towed by a Dodge Ram.
It says [DIR] which means folder, but whoever made this hoax never looked at the internal game files since they got every other internal wrong, etk_800 is etk800 gavril_d_series is pickup hirochi_sbr4 is just sbr4... Then there's the pickup folder in the pic which is the d series again so that makes no sense + the vehicles are .zip files not directories --- Post updated --- Lmao I love that example
So, a bit of MD speculation... We know that the MD was the last of the planned trucking content, but also was released unfinished per the 0.33 dev blog. We didn't get any MD content in 0.34/0.35, and in 0.36 we got 2 lengths of school bus and 1 size armored vehicle. While that could fulfill the vague "more unique variants planned in future updates" line from the 0.33 dev blog, it still leaves a lot of possible content. I made this post back in October with all the content I think the truck could realistically get. While that in itself isn't speculation as there's always additional content I like to suggest, there are some "low hanging fruit" on that list. I feel like it's worth having a discussion about the biggest standout on that list: a fire truck. Fire trucks have been some of the most frequently requested additions since the start of the game. While the stereotypical modern American firetruck would require a dedicated platform the MD can at least get us most of the way there (Yes we have the Stambecco but that doesn't really fulfill the American part of this). There's also a lot of routes an MD firetruck could take... One that's particularly interesting to me would be a stump jumper/brush breaker since it would get some IRL unique ECUSA culture for that map (Hopefully a FD Drill Team truck in the future too but that's a whole different conversation). These are basically HD brush trucks that can double for flood rescue. On Long Island they'll almost always be based on 2.5/5 ton ex-military trucks (Though there are some on the Island made from F-600's and Internationals), in upper NY and New England you can find them generally based on standard medium duty trucks but it isn't hard to find some oddball platforms too (COE Ford's seemed to be a common choice for awhile). For anyone who wants to know a bit more about these trucks: Cape Cod's Brush Breakers: https://www.capecodfd.com/PAGES Special/Breakers_05_A.htm Long Island's Stump Jumpers: https://www.capecodfd.com/PAGES Special/Apparatus-Long_Island_Brush_Trucks_122115_p1.htm
Or even an alternate engine option. The T-Series' V8 is sampled from a 12.5L engine IRL. I don't know much about medium-duty trucks, but I can assume a medium-duty V8 option would be around that size (although—playing devil's advocate here—the IRL Caterpillar 3208 V8 used by both the Kodiak and medium-duty F-800 is actually 10 ci down from the MD's I6 (630 versus 640).
