You have to either download a ps4 controller "map" thing that basically tells the game what to assign for each button. It is a little complicated to make but you could probably download an input map off the forums. There is bound to be a few floating around. Just do an advanced search on "input maps" or "controller...

It should be an infractionable offence to suggest DS4 tool. Why? It uses motionInJoy. Known malware. Both you and dummy now have malware, congrats.

Its known to load a site sometimes that may contain malware, didn't know that. Of course if you aren't an idiot you should have protection against it :p

I highly recommend using DS4Windows and I find it supperior to other 360 emulators. It works with both cabled connection and bluetooth connection, and the program has a lot of customization possiblities, for instance you can use the motion sensors to control your vehicle.

More than that. Corrupts windows USB device handling (the cause of several bluescreens that some users have experienced). Corrupts windows bluetooth device handling - particularly bluetooth USB adapters which plays into the first point. Logs random hard disk sectors to a chinese web server (nobody seems to know exactly what its stealing or why, it seems to rip entire sectors and not the actual filesystem data so its just a stream of meaningless info, only reasonable suggestion I've seen for it is maybe they are simply using that meaningless stream for bitcoin mining or something instead of calculating numbers client side, effectively using end users as random number generators. Or maybe they are actually trying to reconstruct data from it, who knows)

Refer to above. DS4Windows suffers the same vulnerability as DS4tool

SCP is open source and many users report it working better than MotionInJoy is anyway. Non malicious and even if you don't trust the compiled binary to be non malicious you can simply check the source over and compile it yourself.

Norton is your problem there (known for many false positives and many false negatives, aka, useless). Actually most antiviruses skip it. Various debugging tools do pick it up though.

Welp, didn't know it was a virus until now, neither malwarebytes or avast have picked it up. Have a source for this info?

And its not a virus. Its malware. Majority of malware is not a virus. Majority of malware is not some evil self installing thing that you can get simply by being connected to the internet (that would be a worm specifically). A virus is self replicating and attempts self spreading (successfully self spreading and installing is a worm)

Use SCP instead. Its open source and works better.
