Considering this year's theme been mostly refreshes and classic cars (and with a heavy lean towards Japanese/US cars), we might not be seeing a new car this year. I wouldn't be surprised if the devs decide to just refresh/remaster all the older vehicles and then finish on that all-new car they might release in mid-2026. As for what it could be...I dunno at this point. As for what order the remasters/refreshes would be in...that depends. My guess is: -0.37 (fall 2025): Moonhawk and/or Barstow (these two cars are quite similar and use the same engine model, so it makes sense to remaster them at the same time) -0.38 (winter 2025): '88 Pessima and/or I-Series (same as above, although with less parts-sharing - not that that stopped the Burnside and Miramar from being refreshed at the same time) -0.39 (spring 2026): DT40L and/or Hopper (both of these were released in previous spring updates (0.9, spring 2017/0.12, spring 2018) -0.40 (summer 2026): SBR4 + new car (if the new car is going to take this long to release, it likely has some new and complicated features, which the SBR could benefit from) We already have a large hamster wheel - it's been in the game for over a decade. I think it's finally going to get remastered, which is honestly quite nice. Hope some of the other props get that treatment. That would probably be the drum for the large hamster wheel.
Or a Toyota Aygo (aka the Citroen C1 and the Peugeot 107)! 795kgs of pure fun! Plus, the Cherrier 1.2 I3 without the turbocharger (71hp/110Nm) could also be used! Hirochi and Cherrier could collab to make this little car! --- Post updated --- Tf??? --- Post updated --- This new teaser has gotten me wondering. What squeak is it about? Timing belt squeak? Winch belt squeak? Tire squeak? And what is that big thing behind the pulley? An electric motor, maybe? Hmmm... Edit! Oh, the "pulley" is actually a Semi wheel with its HD tire! I just noticed it! But the question about what all this could be still remains...
I'm genuinely confused about what that is. First I thought oh, electric motor, but this looks more like a dynamo maybe? Regardless, very confused about why there seems to be a frame underneath all of the parts, unless it's upside down or meant to be a fixed prop? Or perhaps the devs are putting one of the tyre testing machines in the game for giggles.
I thought it was a joke, like the hamster kia soul ad, I thought it was an electric kia soul battery shit whatever it is
Im pretty sure it's a hamser wheel? The squeak in the title, and on twitter they are using a hamster emoji. At first i thought it could be related to tyre testing, but the big wheel is not round enough for that, it would be way too bumpy for anything like that. (it would have to be higher density topology).
How dare the devs not do what some random little kid wants!! On a serious note be glad you don't have to pay for updates and be glad that they are quite frequent with lots of stuff in most of the updates. Not everything revolves around what the people on the forums want.
well, what did you expect? I like this new teaser, even though it's not pointing to a remaster or a new car
