Is there an alternative site to buy this from? My account on Gumroad was either banned or just deleted and the support were beyond useless. I didn't receive something I bought in my download library a few months ago and their response was to buy it again until it appeared, I replied explaining the money for what I bought had already been taken out of my bank account but they responded stating I would need to become a verified user to be able to sell. I ended up getting the seller to refund it but shortly after I found I could no longer login.
I'm sorry for bothering this thread but, before buying, I'd like to make a few questions, since there is no demo version: 1. Are there frequent bugs that break immersion/make it undrivable 2. How is the handling, especially under stress (heavy load, fast driving, lots of horsepower, off-road) 3. How is the crash model. Are suspensions strong/weak enough, does the cabin have the right strength. 4. I see that the mod is still marked as WIP and that is still actively worked on. What parts of it are WIP? More customization? Refining of handling and jbeam? Small bugs? TL;DR As reference, how does it compare to LJ and LucasBE quality. Sorry if the questioning appears a bit harsh
1. No 2. handles bit better than T-series 3. crash model is alright bit strong but its not horrible 4. more content is being worked on such as cabs more upfits and other parts 5. mod is pretty much lucasBE quality
1. No bugs that i can report off, except the reflection of the truck that are a bit weird when having a trailer attached, but that is caused by the game itself, not the mod. The performance could be a small downsight, but it's not too bad. 2. It handles realistically, you can fine tune suspension for the cab etc. and it handles heavy hauls good, but please download Zeit's tranmissions for a good experience: https://www.beamng.com/resources/automated-manual-transmission-more.30117/ 3. Damage looks great and stiffness as well as camera behaviour can be adjusted 4. Minimal tweaks on the truck perchance, otherwise the mod will get new cabines, upfits and frames. I hope this helped.
I want to buy this but the ko-fi store page linked on several YouTube videos is showing sold out. How come is this limited production despite being a digital product?
He is no longer selling it on Ko-Fi, it is now only available on Gumroad. The product is still listed on Ko-Fi to allow people who had already purchased it to update it.
There is not much support, it's some AI bot that responds with the wrong information. I bought something on there before but after I never got it in my downloads section I contacted support but they immediately responded on how to buy something again. When I responded back saying I already bought the mod but did not have it in my downloads they just started going on at how I needed to verify to sell products. I think I eventually managed to get in touch with the seller in the end and they refunded me, but shortly after my account showed as deleted so I can't purchase anything. If I went through the product page link then go via the Paypal email address they will probably just take my money again as I can't even log in to get to the downloads section now.
