Hello everyone! This is my first thread here, and im starting with this: This is my 3d model, which is going to be imported to BeamNG. This model is 100% made by me, by 3d scan as reference. The enginebay, suspension is still WIP, but already seems pretty done. Interior is empty for now, but will be made too! Some tweaks for exterior and lights will be also made. Textures are WIP. ------- ------- Lore: MelAZ 968M was a 2-door, rear-engined, rear wheel drive, small-sized family saloon, made by MelAZ (Melitopolskiy Avtomobilniy Zavod, Melitopol Car Factory), was produced from 1979 to 1994. It was a modernized version of older MelAZ 968, 968M was a last model of "Melitopolets" series. It was produced in Melitopol, USSR, till 1991, after 1991 it was produced in Melitopol, Ukraine till 1994. It comes with a lineage of 1.2 V4 engines, with different power range. Was mostly used by normal Soviet families, since it was one of the most cheapest and easy-to-get car. There was also a lot of modifications for people with disabilities, for example, people with no legs, or only with 1 hand. Only one gearbox was used in this car, a 4-speed manual. In 1994 production of 968M has ended because of obsolescent construction, low demand, environmental and safety requirements, direction change of the factory and economical reasons. ------ Q&A: 1) Will There be some tuning? Yes, there will be various tuning, starting from exterior and ending with the engine. 2) Is it going to be a paid mod or a free mod? As first, its going to be a paid early access mod, but later when it will be polished, i would release it to repo. 3) Will there be 966, 968? Maybe in future, after release ------ Right now, im trying to import it into BeamNG and try to do something with it. I hope, it would be a success, since its my first EVER mod. Also, its my real car!
I was going to learn how to model and make this, but you beat me to it lol. I have never seen one and never probably will but I found one on the internet and fell in love with the little mid-engine nugget. Best of luck getting it into beam!

Stock ones only in hot outside temperature, if it will be possible. There will be beater configs, so they will overheat 100%
This was made from defective bodies, the factory had to fulfill the plan for the government. It's not a full new body, just a trimmed defective original body.
I'm looking forward to this mod. Will it also have the Cléon fonte inline-4 ? And i know it may not be realistic, but a sporty version would be cool, maybe something with a ~60 to 70hp.
I dont really know about adding I4 engines, maybe some Lada engine as swap? Sport version sounds pretty interesting, i will think about it.
Looks quite promising, i hope this isn't one of the projects that get put in the game but then they realize that they can't mod and it becomes scrapped.
