WEATHEr radar system and alerts that can be listened to as you drive in first person as weather rolls in
Why? There is not even weather in this game. This is a feature that would not even be used by most people anyway.
Yes there is, there is multiple weather mods in the game such as the Tornado mod, MK's dynamic weather mod, flood mod and tornado intercept vehicles. This would be a great idea.
Dynamic weather alerts. Flying a gyrocopter through hell to reach the other side of the map or something in cops and robbers would be overkill but IM ALL FOR IT in Mp depending on how this all turns out
I think that would be a cool idea too, idk how these mods are made but I will research how to and look into it.
If they start weather and location development IM GOING TO FREAKING SCREAM. Time will tell but im gonna be bouncing off the walls for sure if that kinda update happens
I just turn on EAS on youtube and drive lol Well, I really would like to see EAS alarms in Beamng, but not as a vanilla feature. More like a mod or so. Because, well, it is a driving sim, and having such things... I dont think devs would even think about adding it. But still, really good idea!
Then the people who make those mods can make one for the game. Stupid to waste developer time on making this. There is a below zero percent chance this gets officially added ever.

Each event last 5 minutes and are randomized and can happen if the temp curve gets an update and can be toyed with more by the user. I already suggested a temp slider in the environment tab
I know how to do it I just see it as clunky and absurred how hard it is to change the atmospheric temp but its as easy as the push of a button for changing the time of day. may we have something to fix that issue? in the future at some point hopefully soon? that would be epic
I feel like a hurricane mod is coming soon, there is a wind of change mod, flood mod, and dynamic weather, and we got tornadoes, which is all the ingredients for a hurrican, all we need is a radar/ eas alarm and a eye of a storm.
i dont see this being somthing that would be made officially but a mod for this would be cool as heck it would also go really well with the weather stuff thats barbent is implementing into their homerange map
I also don't think it would be legal for them to add the EAS alert sounds to the game, they would definitely get sued by the US FCC
the real stuff yes but similar type stuff they absolutely could the alert tone could be changed easily and the garbled nonsense could be made into a different garbled nonsense
idc either way but if beam wants REALISTIC weather and hail to damage cars and stuff they 100% should go start talking to storm chasers on the ground and ask them what its like driving into the tornado etc --- Post updated --- start with reed timmer and then work your way down the line of meterologists that are kinda famous. jim can tori(I feel like I butchered the name) and other weather experts that dont just do forcasts but love their jobs. they are very good people to talk to. Im sure they will go on and on and on till the next morning about the weather and what they have seen up close. if i ever see the day we get frost and ice buildup in wheel wells of cars to where it impacts the vehicles ability to steer or stuff I WILL LITERALLY NEVER STOP PLAYING the game in my free time if that becomes a thing. if you think im talking a lot just talk to some of the more famous meterologists they would probably be way more than happy to show how climate change etc affect cars and everything from ac units to power bills too.
