Hey all, Im a noob here still on a mac but looking for a cheap new laptop solely for a few games and want a computer with an hdmi port. Im NOT trying to spend too much money as I am a broke college student with an expensive girlfriend and an even more expensive car addiction!

Anyways I was wondering if you guys thought any of these would be able to run BeamNG well. Thats pretty much my primary goal. I don't really know a ton about computers/processors/ram/rom ect. so I just really don't know what would be a good choice. Not trying to spend over 300$ if thats even possible

    Here are a few...

Honestly you need a $1000+ laptop to play beamng well. A few cheaper ones will do ok, but still probably $500-600+
The first two are celerons. Celerons are fewer cored, slower, turboless versions of a slower, fewer cored, simpler core. In other words, they are extremely basic. Will not play beamng at even 10fps.

    Number 3 is a scammer.

Number 4 will not play beamng either.

I honestly feel bad for not being able to help you out, but laptops are expensive. If you have a Mac that is either high-end or fairly new I think you can run bootcamp to windows and run it there.

I think that it will be hard to find a good laptop for $300.

I spent about $550 on a laptop with separate GPU.

    With this specs:
    I3 2 core 4 threads
    6Gb ram 1333Mhz
    Nvidia Gt 720m

and it has between 20-30 FPS on lowest settings, so its not playable (not for me)

If you have some luck you might find a used laptop for about $500- 550 Thats pretty good. Laptop falls in price pretty fast so just look on some website where they sell used computers. Thats my best advice

But if you consider having a desktop, you will get a really good computer for that $500 that will handle beamNG on medium settings with probably 60 FPS or more

    I can say this.
a desktop computer for $480 is better then a laptop for $1000

Not with that CPU. Nothing AMD has the single-threaded performance to run the more complex vehicles. The GPU is fine, I have a 750 ti and it's alright, expect 50 FPS at normal @ 1080p

It would run the smaller cars ok. The bigger ones would be limited by AMD's IPC. Would you mind telling me why you decided on the 750ti? The 260x is about as fast, and cheaper. This PC would be better. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xc8423
