ok, so I was driving around on roads in a car and I went round a bend and a light came on the dash, the car swerved to the right and I hit a tree. I looked on the car looking for what happened and I saw that one of the tyres, the front right one, was deflated. I was thinking maybe it was a blowout?
I'm sure the cause of the accident wasn't your tire blowing out. They're way too hard to pop in this game if you ask me. You can destroy the wheel itself and the suspension before popping the tire. More likely the bumped caused you to lose traction and slide off the road and you somehow popped the tire in the crash.
It is a WIP, they may change it to cause a different effect or making it easier for it to pop. I tested the Covet on Hirochi Raceway for 2 laps and hitting every curb and the TPMS light didn't go on until I hit a wall. What could of happened was that hitting the bump broke the steering and made the car lose control, since that is easy to do.
The description indicated something went wrong with the car, an indicator came on the dash and he crashed due to the issue. Unless I'm mistaken I have never seen anyone report this sequence as a routine event, nor have I ever experience it, in my time with the game. Perhaps I'm imagining things, like a tire blew etc, an indicator illuminated and he subsequently wrecked. A year ago this was not possible...or am I off my rocker?
Check engine light doesn't come on for burst tyres. More likely he hit a bump hard enough to break engine and steering, lack of steering caused crash (or genuine human error) and the light was for the engine. Tyre burst in the crash. Tyres have always been poppable.
They implemented the ability to pop tires long before release iirc. Of course its a WIP because new tire model, I was just referencing to it. I hope they do make them easier to pop, though. It's always bothered me how you can hop a curb at 70 and the tires be perfectly fine.
Fine. Burst my bubble. Sure sounded awesome and enjoyed making the connection, a tire psi warning on the dash as the bead fails on a hard turn and right into a tree.
The new pressureWheels seem much more prone to popping than their older counterparts. I've been able to cause them to pop by sliding around a rough corner a few times, at least on the Sunburst. Tire poppage also seems much more prone to causing handling woes than before.
I was in the sunburst when it happened but I hit the bump and after a few seconds the 'check engine' light came on.
well, there is a tire psi warning, if you click the deflate tires button in that one ui app said dash warning light will turn on
