I think its brakeglow.
i took this picture at the same time and same place and the brakes look a lot different

 

Is the tire on the left a normal T-Series tire?

Can you try again, but crank all the graphics all the way up when you take the screenshot? I'm not sure if the minor difference in reflection/overall image quality could affect the test result.

Not to mention, I think you had the time a little wrong since in the official teaser it looks like the sun is a little lower due to the shadows, and the more orangish hue of everything.

Specifically, the Barstow's mirror shadow.

That may be a point, but i don't think time (or specifically sun light angle) will affect the color so much
If you compare the bucket and the tower in the two screenshots, the ones in the teaser aren't as orangish as the brake

And i do believe it's a bastion

 

There is no doubt it's brake glow. The car is stopping because of the truck, and it is the brake lights that are jealous.
I wonder if it will be just a visual upgrade. Brakes thermal seems alredy good.
And I also wonder why it took them so long. Why would an emissive texture take so long? Is it related to the fading headlights? Or does it open up more upgrades?

And the tire defenitely doesn't belong to the MD-Series

Usually, all the autumn updates were released around the 20th of September. So, I don't think we should expect an update anytime soon

 

If it was going to drop then there wouldnt be 6 teasers already, thats usually the most teasers we get.
