I have tried to replicate this thing but either i get the brakes illuminated white or just the same as in my screenshot. Maybe its a graphics setting that affects that but i doubt the devs would use anything other than ultra graphics in their teasers (i think). The AO setting wouldnt affect it that much if at all. As i said before, the brakes didnt heat up to red hot after one emergency brake, they just heated up enough to be red but not to be glowing Just a theory, but what if the brake lights are jealous of the headlights, that they didnt break, because someone rear ended the bastion???? (but the tilt on the bastion just looks like heavy braking, not getting rear ended)
Maybe it's taken before getting rear ended? And also maybe it's because the brake light hazard when emergency brake toggles ABS while the head light don't need to?
your wording is quite sloppy or i am stupid, but i think you are trying to say the emergency braking system turns on the hazards, like in vivace. Thats not the case
No i don't mean that I mean if you brake very hard, the ABS system will work, and the brake light will go on and off and on
when ABS is working, the ABS light on the dashboard flashes, the brake lights stay on. The lights flash on EU vehicles like ETK 800 or vivace only because you pressed the brake hard (its not abs, just a warning to other drivers to signal really hard braking)
I think 2 ways One side of me thinks they cant tease much more at this point. unless they showcase what ever the 1st teaser was ( the thing with wheels ) And more of the limo, seems like it is getting close the other side of me is thinkig it may be a little while yet
I would so love an update focused on vehicle lights. Not the actual lights, but proper blooming and lens flares. You can't really see other vehicles at night until they get really close, because they lack lens flares, and the bloom doesn't scale with distance. But also the bloom keeps the same value in daytime, where lights don't appear as bright as they would at dead of night. I believe the traffic Cherrier doesn't have bloom on its lights at all, which gives it a realistic appearance during daytime, but you're still not going to see it at night. Most egregious example are police lightbars. If you make a police car block the road with its emergency lights on, it will still most likely get wrecked as no drivers will realistically see the faint flashing of the lightbar in the dark from a distance when there's a lack of lens flares and the blooming isn't aggressive enough.
I've been waiting for actually functional, temporal anti-aliasing for years. TAA would also greatly help ambient occlusion as the current GTAO algorithm is designed to utilise it for denoising but they run it without.
