If the GM is getting remaster ( may be wrong ) is this the first Car in game to have had two reworks/remasters ect? cant wait. It is the most close thing we get to a NC fairlane ( aussie car )
quests are coming to beamng this image is a masterpiece located: beamng.drive/gameplay/quests/quest.jpg the file exists from late 2023 so maybe its forgotten?
iirc the devs almost always release updates on Tuesdays, idk why. Also, has anybody been keeping an eye on the content creator branch? They usually push to that branch a couple days before pushing to main so that could give us clues as to when it will release
yes sadly hidden, The last time we could tell, WAS the dec update, when i was ovely hyped for the nine, witch still is the best car ( for me ) god i love pre war cars, ahaha I use to see creator updated it was like the best teaser ever lol, Then i played GTA 4 ( now am playing gta 5 witch feels odd lol ) ANYWAY OT, yeah mid sep seems tasty maybe before hand, I have no idea what this update is other then the limo lol UPDATED, Feels strange that ( tasty juice ) whould be part of the limo, unless its like a luxury thing with the limo I.E ( minibar, ) ( as well as tasty cola ) otherwise Could be maybe a full of grand marshal refresh/.remake BUT again this is found in common folder, very strange lol PS any cars in game use FM 87.3? As of current ?
It was most likely hidden on purpose - I'm not sure why that's the case, but I think the devs didn't want to have anything that would be too reliable for guessing when the update would drop. Also, while looking through the old teasers, I came across this thing. Diamondback said that this would "not be a vehicle with an engine/motor", and we've had a mystery device that likely isn't a vehicle. So, what if that mystery device shared the JBeam with that old thing from 2023? If that's the case, that would be the longest gap between content being teased and content being released since the 800/K refresh (July 2022 -> April 2023). The video shows something moving up and down, so it's likely a car crusher of some sort. (I'm not sure if this video has been mentioned before recently.)
it makes sense, they probably wanted the PTO hydraulics simulation that was debuted in the T-series remaster to also be used by these redesigned props. this was likely a slapped together car crusher prototype; applying enough force to crush a car and probably stall the engine running it is an extreme use of the system, as opposed to the more "gentle" application in e.g. the dump trucks.
The use in question is the frameless dump trailer. "Not a vehicle with an engine/motor" because it receives the power from the truck. The video is sped up a lot, the structure itself is very slow and not able to crush a car, it's not a car crusher, just a super simple structure to test the actuator for the trailer
Could you please shine some light on the shifter post on that same page? I was more intrigued by that than the mechanism. The swirly shape made me think it's an automatic shifter, but then that really long stretch into the what I can assume would be a manual shifting slot really threw me off. Was that implemented into any vehicle or was it just made for testing?
I think it is on one of the ETKs? Or another modern car, I forgot. It's way simpler in game, we only did a super complex test like that to make sure it works on mods
lads i js found something: BeamNG.tech is a academia- and industry-oriented fork of BeamNG.drive. In content and features, it largely overlaps with BeamNG.drive, and offers additional functionality to support driver training simulators and the development of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Can this mean that we will have vanilla ADAS system?
Maybe that's the system that's going into the new car that's coming out next year. Perhaps some modern luxury car, or tech-forward EV.
i really like modern cars, i hope we are going to get one with ADAS and some stuff --- Post updated --- Oh and: Adaptive Cruise Control
