These pictures really highlights my biggest gripe with the Burnside; How little space the steering wheel takes up within the interior

Oh, that makes sense. I've never heard of that specific car before. (That also explains why it has the Bluebuck RoadSport hubcaps, despite lead sleds commonly using more aerodynamic hubcaps.)

Perhaps the Ratrod could be a chopped sedan, then - unless that was also referenced after a specific car?

Beautiful work, the BeamNG vehicles are unique and not available in any other Racing / Driving Simulator...it's great to see them remastered / updated, keep up the good work BeamNG.

You know how if you look in through the windshield of an early '50s car you can see a good portion of the top half of the steering wheel, in the Burnside you don't. Only the very edge of the wheel is peeking over the dashboard. Look at the picture that you have posted (what is it?), see the diameter of the wheel in comparison to the width of dash, now look at the Burnsides. Looks a bit small doesn't it

I think it would be a good idea to show the powerglow configs in the vehicle selector instead of them being hidden. First of all, the majority of players don't even know that these configs even exist or how to access them and second, not many people play the light runner mode in the first place. The Guinea Pig Covet, which was only used in the campaign, ended up being its own config, so why not the powerglow ones? They could also be added under the auxiliary only filter.

I'm glad that more vehicles like the Nine and Burnside are receiving powerglow configs, but please return the Bolide poweglow as it was removed during its remaster :(

one thing i find odd ( love the remaster btw ) is the fact the face lift uses a alternator, and not a generator that the pre facelift uses,

I guess we can say it was a advanced car ;)

A couple details that this car is screaming for: windshield visor and tertiary paintable steel wheels like the Nine has

Bonus: a variant of the hoof ornament where the white part glows amber when the headlights turn on

The sun visors go through the roof after a high speed(110 km/h) crash.
This can't happen on the recently remastered/refreshed cars like Sunburst and Miramar (both have sun visors and crashed into the wall at 110 km/h the same speed as Burnside crashed into the wall).
Note the sun visors on the Burnside's roof.
Is it intentional or just something else (like an issue)?

Can you add a roll cage option for the chopped body?

One thing that would've been cool is a Gavril version; If Burnside is the "premium" brand of Gavril, there would've likely been a Gavril badged version with less chrome and smaller engines. And of course an estate and ute would've been noice but those are already modded (even if the ute is hopelessly outdated)

The Gavril version would have really different styling. In the ‘50s American cars on the same platform still looked pretty different
    2 1956 GM A body 4dr hardtops for reference

I meant the "GM route", aka REBADGE THE HELL OUT OF IT
    --- Post updated ---
(I've been thinking of learning basic modding to make a slightly different grille, less chrome trim and new badges)

I mean...maybe? Considering that the Burnside has a wheelbase closer to a Chevrolet than an Oldsmobile of the period, it could be conceivably made into a Gavril with some body modifications.

    (Length/Width/Height/Wheelbase, meters, 1953 model year)
    -Chevrolet sedan: 4.97/1.91/1.65/2.92
    -Oldsmobile 88: 5.18/1.95/1.61/3.05
    -Burnside Special: 5.17/2.01/1.66/2.94

And all three of the similar mid-tier brand US cars (Olds 88, Mercury Monterey, Desoto Firedome) were only available with V8s. Even the Mercury Custom (which was the base-model until 1956) only had V8s. Some '50s DeSoto models (like the S-10 and Powermaster) had straight-sixes in them, so it's not entirely unreasonable for the Burnside to have a straight-six, as well. (It could be a different model on the same platform, though.) Also, the '53 Gavril could've been an even smaller car than a '53 Chevrolet (like the '53 Plymouth Cranbrook, which has a 2.81m wheelbase and is 4.8m long).

While we're on the topic of DeSoto, I feel like a version of the Burnside similar to their Suburban would be neat. That was nearly 5.7m long on a 3.55m wheelbase, could seat nine people, and was powered by a straight-six. It would be a neat way to get a second "limo" in the game, if we're not going to get a ute or wagon version of the Burnside.
