Cant get my steering wheel to work in game. the computer recognizes the controller properly and everything but it will not respond in game. on the main menu there is an option for input test on the right side at the bottom of the list, and everything seems to be responding in the test but once in game, it becomes completely unresponsive. is there something i have to enable to allow the game to take commands from the wheel?

Get the software needed for your wheel. I think it is Logitech Gaming Software 5.10.

I'm also having some problems with the FFB using the Logitech Force GT in-game.
The wheel will often steer strongly to the right by itself for absolutely no reason, and I can't really consider the actual feedback to be working.

This is when using the correct software.

I've had that happen before, and I mostly will keep in turned off.

Try lowering your centering spring settings in the logitech profiler

Thanks for the tip, but sadly it has no effect.
I recorded how the FFB is currently acting. Pay attention to the wheel position and the forces. Notice how it suddenly changes its force and maxes out the FFB meter instantly.

I'm using the latest version of the Logitech Profiler made for this specific wheel
These are the settings I used in the video (For exaggerated effect):

    (imported from here)

The "spring effect strength" and "damper effect strength" have no effect at all in-game.
Centering works as expected, but has a tough time fighting against the forces of the FFB which tries as hard it can to get the wheel off-center.
