The Hirochi Héritage/Overlander *Based on the 3rd generation Subaru Legacy/Outback* Progress: 3D Model: 86% Textures: 58% Jbeams: 35% Materials: 11% Configs: 6% Everything planned for the initial release: - Real life inspired Héritage and Overlander configs - 2.5 NA, 2.5 Turbo, 3.0 NA and 3.0 Turbo models - A few simple custom configs, such as a drift version, street tuned, offroad, etc. Planned for the future: - Sedan body and real life inspired configs - Ute body (maybe baja body, maybe custom ute body, not sure yet) - RHD body with real life inspired configs - Many other custom parts, including rally, racing , hillclimb and drag specific parts - Diesel model and other stock trim levels ***I know progress has slowed down lately because college started, but don't worry I haven't stopped working on it. I have a lot of fun ideas for this mod, and im very open to any suggestions/criticism.
right now id like to make at least legacy and outback since i have both at home for reference, but if i can get my hands on a baja 3d scan or enough pictures i might do it at some point!
Update: been making some real progress this week, got the engine bay stuff started and made the suspension in beamng! Also started working on the interior.
Considering the only other lore friendly Subaru Outback, the hirochi overlander got canceled, its really nice to see someone else give a go at making a lore friendly Outback mod, epically since I’ve been dying for one on beaming ever since I discovered the modding community here. So looking forward to the progress you make on this.
I'd like to name the outback the overlander since that's been a thing on here, but i'd have to ask the original creator first to make sure. Would be cool to keep the name tho imo!
id like to make all the legacy/outback trims, but im starting school again this week so it might take some time before i make other configs.
