Doubt it is today. We in the UK haven't recieved the update IF it is out yet. doubt it will be soon tho.
They wont release the update in the week-end ! They deserve some rest they are cooking non stop for us and they work very hard to bring us quality AND free updates every 3 months or so ! I say we are thankful to them and we gave them the time they need without rushing them ! It will release when its ready and i a good state ! im sure it will be worth it like always !
As Josh said above, i hope they take their time.. Plus for the kids pushing 'Release Now/Tomorrow/Date' i hope the devs intentionally delay it on purpose just to give the dev team some family time & to take care of their mental health. No dev here should feel burned out due to kids on here commenting they want such and such today/tomorrow/in a few days etc etc..
the only difference to the grand marshal i see, besides the obvious limo, is the addition of the vinyl roof which, is this the first vanilla vehicle in the game with a vinyl roof? and possibly a updated interior, the thing im most excited for in the limo, is the features, hopefully a sunroof possibly functional, a minibar maybe with champagne glasses with GAVRIL etched on them or a partnership with like cherrier, on them like Orrefors did in some volvo models, the ambient lighting around the car and inside, and maybe just hopefully a tiny television that when you start the car shows a beamng easter egg or something, and yes the olds full size mod was and has always been my favorite mod,
i cant imagine the work and probably stress it takes to do what the devs do, like updating things constantly and putting all our wants into the game while doing it all on time every year, we seriously underappreciate the dedication they put in to make this game as great as it is --- Post updated --- unfortunately i tried to upload a picture zoomed in on it but a error popped up
I will admit that I probably haven't helped with my guesswork for when 0.37 could come out (and I've noticed that the "wen update" asking/demanding has gone way up since Thursday), but my guesses have always been that - guesses. I know that the answer to "wen update" will always be "when it's ready" - I'm more trying to figure out when "ready" could be. I was a bit confused as to why the devs always release a major update during this part of September. However, mid-September is when the Planes, Trains, and Automobiles event occurs. That at least explains why 0.33 was released in September of '24, but before then...I'm not sure. My best guess is that it's because of World Children's Day in Germany (20 September). I guess Milendur and Manfred were right, after all. It was a bit silly of me to think that we might get 0.37 in early-September (and very silly to think that we could get it in late-August). However, I didn't really understand why September updates come out when they do. It would make sense to release an update during that event/holiday. Here's the Steam sales that are probably most relevant to Beam, and their usual times (as well as which updates have released in those periods): Spoiler: Sales Spring Sale: 2nd-3rd week of March (no updates, but teasers have become more frequent and numerous before updates since 0.19 (which had 11 teasers and a whole devblog post)). I think the devs figured out that they could post teasers as a way to drum up hype and boost sales during this event without having to drop the update early. Summer Sale: 4th week of June to 2nd week of July (0.13 (13 July), 0.23 (30 June), 0.29 (4 July)). Planes/Trains/Automobiles/World Children's Day: 3rd week of September (0.4.2 (18 Sept), 0.26 (19 Sept), 0.30 (20 Sept), 0.33 (18 Sept)). This is by far the longest-lasting and most-consistent period of update releases since 0.3.8.1 (when they do happen), with the smallest day gap between updates. Steam Autumn Sale: Previously, this happened around Black Friday (0.11 (23 Nov), but this year, it's been moved forward to the end of September/early October (0.7 (5 Oct)). We could see 0.37 delayed until this sale, but I feel like the devs would want to release the update during a more specific sale, to not get drowned out by other games. Winter Sale: End of December - beginning of January (0.5/0.5.1 (18/30 Dec), 0.8 (21 Dec), 0.15 (20 Dec), 0.18.3 (19 Dec), 0.24.1 (20 Dec)). Updates have usually been dropping the week before this sale since 0.15. Also, a bit of 0.38 speculation - there'll be a Steam Sports Fest between the 8th and 15th of December. Considering we've gotten several major updates between those dates (0.18 (9 Dec), 0.21 (15 Dec), 0.27 (13 Dec), 0.31 (14 Dec), 0.34 (10 Dec)), that seems quite reasonable, to me. We've also nearly broken the record for most concurrent players, and the update hasn't even dropped yet. Today got up to 30,620 players (29 less than the all-time peak a few days after 0.35). The past month has seen incredible growth. August had a bigger gain in peak players over the previous month than June (2,515 vs. 2,147), and that was with fewer losses in the previous month (-2,160 in July vs. -4,007 in May). September so far's gained another 1,500 peak players. These teasers are doing numbers for the game, if anything else. We'll likely break a new record for playercount when 0.37 drops - by how much, I'm not sure. So far, the only record to remain unbroken since 2015 has been the % player increase over the previous month (0.4, 119.42%). Third place is 0.17, with a 75.7% increase. For 0.37 to break that record, there'd need to be around 36,000 extra players - which is honestly absurd, and I don't think that would happen even if we got multiplayer. (0.27 broke the record for peak players by 4,618, and that was a colossal update.) But it would be really funny if the prop update ends up breaking that record. The LeGran's had a vinyl landau roof since 0.9 (April 2017), so it's very nice to see another vinyl roof after more than eight years.
Really??? I thought they're much newer, like in early 2024! --- Post updated --- I also hope it finally gets a front bench seat. It's the same hope I have for the Moonhawk, the LeGran and the Wendover as well. All these 4 models are legit 6-passenger cars. --- Post updated --- Plus, kids have to learn being told "No!" every now and then. Not everyone/everything revolves around them. That's how Karens and Darrens are created.
I can confirm that 0.26 was when the GM (and '88 Pessima) got updated lights (this is from the 0.26 changelog): What's interesting is that both the GM and '88 Pessima got bodykits in later updates (0.33 for the '88, 0.34 for the GM). And yeah, more front benches would be nice. The Miramar has a front bench - why not the big US sedans/coupes?
Whoaaaa!!! Great eye about the vinyl top, man!!! Really excited about this!!! For some reason, I just remembered the "10-year delay" clip playing in the TV of the oldsfullsize limo mod! They could put the BeamNG Tech Showcase and Showreel videos playing in the TV of the GM limo! Oh my, how time flies... Yep, and the Miramar also has column shifters for both manual and automatic transmissions! You can turn the Miramar Pick-Up into a baby D-Series and the Miramar Sedan/Coupe into a baby Bluebuck with these parts! Combined with the front bench seat, what interior configuration could be any more American than this? I hope all these aforementioned American Sedan and Coupe models get a front bench seat sometime too.
