Why community is getting toxic.

Multiplayer is tbh common for people to be toxic, and we’re lucky to not have brainrot mods in BeamNG so far (not trying to jinx it lol). I play Roblox but only for fun. What Roblox has been doing lately is disgusting and I’m glad people are taking action against this monstrosity.

 

I tried to drag moderation in the right direction because Roblox was going down a dark path that I could see not ending well for them.... They ignored me and decided to punish me instead. Shame on them and they deserve every single uppercut legally that they can end up getting hit with. They don't deserve anything. They all deserved to be either arrested for being complicit and letting children get hurt or whatever. Roblox is basically a zombie at this point that needs to be purged

 

Honestly if you leak 1 mod then you're a threat to the modding society

It's the entire moderation of Roblox. I don't know what you're talking about, but I'm talking about the corrupt moderators throughout Roblox who don't do their job right and will protect child abusers. Roblox needs to be shut down. Permanently.

To me (at least) it feels like the forums have been morphing into twitter, less of a community than it used be.

I can't put it into words very well but the forums pre-covid were different, less arses and offtopic nonsense, less arguing, ragebaiting/trolling and passive-agressiveness. Not that it wasn't there but the point stands.
This thread is a pretty decent example of it, to be fair.

And it's not like paid mods have helped but lets not open that can of worms.

After my last and longest break from Beam and the forums, when I came back things had changed quite a lot here and not for the better.

Sorry if I sound like I am just complaining, I just miss the way the old forums felt, it was a nice place.

 

This is true. I've had several notable modders attack me for literally EVERYTHING, not just for what I say, but for what I post and do, and this not only happened on Discord, but on the forums as well. Not only that, they are condescending, hostile, and passive-aggressive. They literally can't let go of the past because they are terminally online basement dwellers that have nothing better to do.

 

All i ever se you do is start arguments on paid mod threads and pull the victim card afterwards, so maybe consider a little self reflection before calling others “terminally online basement dwellers”. Personally i have nothing against you as a person, but I can understand why people could get a little upset with you.

Well, I've been busier than usual and already reflected on how I act. I also understand why people may be a bit upset with me, and that's fine.

 

Maybe if you weren't the forum embodiment of greed, people would reason with you a little better. Aside from the fact that 90% of your arguments are that everything and everyone should give you things for free

Holy shit you guys are literally proving Danny's point. I don't agree with the "terminally online basement dwellers" comment as that seemed a bit harsh but it's pretty clear you guys are just attacking this guy.

Hopefully all of you realize some of these messages cross the line into fucking cyberbullying.

Apparently its not fine because you keep pulling the victim card and complain about them afterwards. Not trying to diss you or anything, just trying to put things in a different perspective for you. I mean it does get a little bit old when people show their art and all you try to do is discredit their hard work just because the title of the thread says [paid]. I personally don’t care im only here for the money, but expect some backlash when you do stuff like this.

It sucks how this became a mildly insightful thread for a little and then went right back full circle and devolved into a worse flame war.

These forums need to get their act together. People need to be banned instead of just having a few messages wiped from threads, and even that hasn’t been done in a while.

Understandable, but I’m tired of seasoned modders being put on a pedestal where nobody can touch them without being flamed. People are getting warned with no explanation and leaving the forums while I doubt you have gotten one warning in the four years you have been here, (I stand corrected as shown by Lichi's post) despite how disrespectful you have been to new users.
