Hey everyone! So basically i dont really know anyone who made a full car mod as their first BeamNG mod. A lot of people dont believe in newcomers trying and they end up giving up even when they have good ideas. I want to change that by making a car mod as my first real mod. Well technically its not my first mod ever i have done some custom parts and kins before but this is my first full car project. Im not giving up until we have a working mod or depending on how things go until we have a near perfect version. The car is called ETK X Series and im starting by making a base model which is why it looks so plain right now. Im not doing this alone im partnering with Marius to bring this project to life. The car is based on a Skoda Scala and no matter what happens we are committed to finishing this project. Cant wait to share progress with you all! -Nogger
I appreciate the effort, dont get me wrong, but wouldnt it make more sense to make its own brand for it? ETK badging on whats essentially a low-cost car js doesnt sit right w me
Even though ETK is an amalgamation of several German brands (primarily BMW, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz), I still think there should be a vanilla equivalent of Volkswagen, SEAT, and of course, Škoda. The author can ask @Muminvivaro for permission to use the Šenta brand.
Hey, I like to think the best of new members. I will never complain about having another vehicle in the game (even if I only end up using it for like 20 minutes like I have with the 900)
I'm thinking why calling it "X-Series" instead of the three-digit naming system like "200-Series" --- Post updated --- Uh yeah i know there's a mod called "ETK 200-Series" on discord, but it doesn't seems to be worked on
Looks cool, good luck with the mod! But i wouldnt call it ETK but rather something Czech. There is already a brand based on skoda with a car that is based on the 1987 Favorit on discord, but i forgot the name.
I have a seat equivalent called IMOTRA (Industrias de motores y transportes) which ttanslates to Motor and transport industries
