What is your understanding of meshlap? This mod is based on Vivace, with the addition of nodes and new beams.
Personally I don't use real-life based vehicle mods in BeamNG but I do appreciate the effort that came in to this vehicle. Some things to improve with this mod (not sure if these are currently WIP): ---The topography as stated by TheTalkingBath in one of the discord channels when showing this vehicle. The shading is kind of all over the place and it would look much better once it's smoothened. ---The engine sound, while I would understand if the F7 only has so much options for engines but having it's own sounds coming from a 1.5/2.0L inline-four engine would make it better. While I know it is hard to find sources on how it sounds like but I have found some videos at least just to get some references/ideas for it like these links below: Here's a YouTube short of a take off that seems to me is using an aftermarket exhaust but I'm not sure but I think it's also worth putting here: https://youtube.com/shorts/zjt7XERx8EU?si=8b-4epVYVsaR-iZi ---The wheel dimensions are not correctly named (currently labeled as 17x9s), I thought I was just tripping but when I tried looking up the spec sheets and it does show up as 19x7/19x6.5. Not sure about the JBeam build of it as I don't have that much experience in making/messing with it for me to leave anything about it but it doesn't feel like I'm driving a Vivace so far. Also while this car may not be sold in the States but can we also have a US license plate on it? I'd love to be able to use some license plate designs in it too (like different US license plate designs from different states and other countries like Philippines, Japan, China, etc.). Other than those three room for improvements that I can point out, I think it's actually worth giving a try. Great work man, keep it up.
Thanks for the very detailed review! To be honest, I don't know how to make my own custom sound from scratch, I usually used ready-made ones, say from BeamNG, or sound files from other games. It seems to me that the use of BeamNG sound on this car is quite appropriate. I really dislike narrow wheels, so I made them a little wider for a better look and ride experience. Regarding the radius, I honestly don't know why I wrote the 17th radius, I was mistaken. 3d Model of the 19th radius I might do it in the future.
I see, no rush for the engine sounds as I figured it might be challenging to do as not a lot of vehicle mods have their own engine sounds. Tho I do see why you chose that inline-four sound as it does sound the closest to the real life counter part.
Yes, that's why I chose the BeamNG sound, if the car was of a higher class, with its own unique sound, then I would make a custom sound. Here I think we can leave this one, because it fits pretty well, maybe I'll edit it in the future. No bro, there's literally a whole thread about Modsfire, you can just open your eyes and read other people's reviews.
