Re: General discussion chat My mom dragged me out to a parking lot where my dad's car is (He is coming back today from a business trip) because it needs a new battery so it was dead. I was expecting that we would just jump it and let the battery charge then leave, but my mom went to auto zone, bought a small booster, (For some reason she didn't want to roll the car back out of the spot to jump it even though it was parked on a hill...) when it didn't work I wanted to leave it to charge the battery but instead my mom called AAA and left to take me home then come back. The airport jump started the car for her (Something I told her to ask the lady working there about) and then AAA arrived and told my mom that the battery was fine even though it obviously isn't. And my dog spilled my iced tea. So yeah, I'm angry.
Re: General discussion chat Bad model 0/10 (imported from here) Ordered an Asus Strix 970 (Now I have 2 Asus cards, 660 and 970). Will use 970 alone, until I get a new PSU and I can pair them together to use in Blender mostly. I'm set for V.

Re: General discussion chat So, I ran some benchmarks on my 660 so that I have something to compare when my 970 arrives (imported from here) Desktop is actually a recording of a Blender Cycles Render. Criteria for the games was 1920x1080 and Maxed out Settings. The 660 performed quite well on most games, except Metro 2033 where it dropped to 10-20FPS.

Re: General discussion chat you are gonna think that it doesn't work, but be yourself, and if you have to do a bit of faking, you better know how to back it up, support the claim, and be able to maintain it, or else you're screwed. has worked for me so far, and it saves pain from coming later that stems from the fake stuff being exposed. also, be prepared to go on an emotional rollercoaster. it will happen usually, if you haven't found the perfect person.
Re: General discussion chat I've found that just randomly walking up to them and going hiirealylikeyoudoyouwantogoonadatewithme hardly ever works. I haven't had a crush on a specific girl in years, but I have had far more success with them than anything else by just treating them like any other person that you want to become friends with. Befriend her and work from there. That's the best advice I have.
