Made a well-deserved bugfix to the addon: 1. With LED headlights installed, every texture would become shiny after being broken due to a sloppy mistake with light flexbody defninitions 2. Caprice lights work again because I forgor they were included in the main lights file 3. Fixed collision on LED headlights and taillights 4. Added "missing" parts, like a sequential shifter for the sequential transmission 5. Refreshed configs with many new parts (particularly the rally configs, which are the fastest 88s I've ever seen now) If the taillights glow brighter than the sun when this is initially installed, it means you need to clear the cache.
No, its a addon sorta thing that adds filament lights and some random experiments I've been working on
alr thanks for the clarification, havent been following the thread all that much so i thought i missed something big
If you have the advanced steering mod installed, you have to change one of the options in the wheel alignment tab in tuning on the car from 0 to 1 percent. I usually change the camber setting since it doesn't mess with driving all that much
Don't worry about it at all, you've already been keeping us content with what you've released so far. Also, mental health is far more important than being on a computer modding for hours. Take your time to recover!
i am having an issue with the force feedback on this mod. there seems to be some spring effect that i can not get rid of... the more i turn the wheel the more spring effect. turning the wheel more than a quarter turn to each side and it becomes so strong that it over powers the real feedback, and sharp hairpin turns become a real chore to get through... if i go to full lock and let the wheel go then it flies back, even when standing still. the original mod does not have this spring effect, ffb works great on it, i can drive the snot out of it, it is my favorite mod ever... i love driving it in traffic on the backroads of the Italy map! but on this reworked mod the ffb makes the cars really difficult to drive! i use a T300rs and have turned of all spring effect in the thrustmaster settings, but still cant get rid of it. anyone else got this problem? is there a setting i missed somewhere for these cars?
