Update Speculation thread

I think he's basing this on the amount of hotfixes for this update, which there have been more than usual iirc. (there have been six so far)

 

A lot more game breaking ones, I couldnt even open beamng till the first patch.

I think the taillights on the wendover are messed up, but idk if that was already patched

 

Need to remaster the T-Series and Nine they are not up to the same level of polish and quality as the Bluebuck and Hopper.

since the christmas update is usually a big thing either a new requested car or a requested remaster usually i wonder what this years will be

Whats with everyone and the Moonhawk? It could use new content, but its got all PBR materials, and a very good model, being updated not to long ago. It doen’t need updated as bad as theHopper does, or even the Bluebuck with its very out of date textures.

 

while it has been reciving some content recently it is nowhere near the amount of work it fully needs to bring it up to standard of other beamng vehicles
also its my favorite car and i want it to have more content

the Moonhawk does look a little outdated (why do the seats look like they're made out of concrete?)

I've always wanted a Hopper remaster. if that ever happens, I would like it to have a four-door variant and maybe a pickup truck variant

 

It doesn’t look that crap when you take a look at the quality of the interior and engine at least doesn’t look as disgusting as the Moonhawk. Moonhawk needs a full on polish and the Hopper could wait out an update or two.

 

Dude the Moonhak isn’t that bad, look at the grand marshal, its frame textures are dookie

 

The Grand Marshall literally got a remaster (more of a refresh) in 2019 and the whole frame was improved. Textures are not crap when you compare it to more outdated BeamNG vehicles.

 

What would be cool is if we got an update themed solely around the classic muscle cars, remastering the Moonhawk, refreshing the Bluebuck and adding stuff to the barstow. Focus on drag racing, oval racing, and also make the engine way more customisable. I'm talking branded parts, different supercharger and blower options, upgradable camshafts, crankshafts, pistons, the whole engine be variable and upgradeable.

Although that is just the dream I guess.
