Its cannon that its defunked unless the devs say otherwise. For all we know the maps don’t even take place in the modern day.

Advertisements on the Utah map, where the Burnside flags are located, show modern vehicles such as the Hirochi Sunburst, Hirochi SBR4, and ETK K-Series, indicating a mid 2010's setting at the earliest

 

Still hard to prove, theres still signage for pontiac near me. I think that burnside should continue till the modern day as it would be nice to get a modern Lincoln Navigator. But still hasn’t been confirmed by devs. So can the devs confirm?

There is a Burnside mod called the Burnside Commander which is similar to the 90s Navigator (it's outdated sadly).

 

Why is it out of date? The only update to the roamer was the lights.

What a coincidence, the front lights are broken. The horn doest work either and the donk config spawns as police in trafic. I have it installed because i need it for the burnside lakewood mod

 

They're not even that slow. My 2004 Corolla is only a second faster in the 0-60 and 2 in the quarter mile than all of those. When you drive em they don't feel scary at all

call me paranoid or a schizo but i feel like we will get a new map in the near future or so
we have not had a update to west coast in a while nor did we get a remaster of others and the etk map needs one and i feel like thats coming in tandem with the tire update which just makes sense to me if thats how it happens
the last map we got was Johnson Valley wich is also a couple of years old now. 13th december 2023 to be exact

Have you driven a nice one though or one that's falling apart. Driving a big boat in good shape is pretty different
When I got my Eagle it wasn't great but now it's fine. Needs new seals and it'll be just like my Corolla
