yesss this mod is pure perfect altough on the base v6 on 2nd gear its kinda slow 10/10 quailty 9/10 driving 10/10 jbeam 10/10 overall 10/10
Here's my career mode Charger that I'm using occasionally for smaller deliveries in RLS Career (I have a box truck for actual money-making), but mostly for running from the law. Hence the cut fenders and increased ride height for the odd spot of country drivin', and the big block V8 nestled underneath the hood. Flipped lid on the four barrel carb because obviously So far between the money made from evading arrest and a bit of racing for cash at the drag strip I've pretty much broken even on the cost of buying and modifying the Charger!
I know, but I'm not sure if a MUSCLE CAR should feel like a 240BX with sports suspension. I have tested it on the track and I know what I'm talking about. I also tried the 70' Mercury Montero from SimpleNG mod, and it felt much more realistic to me.
Went with the 440. They built so few Hemi 3rd gen Chargers in The Real World™, so I figured a 440 made more sense.
Yeah quality is probably 9/10. I think it's close to 10/10. But not quite there YET. even though I'd like the glove box to be openable,,,
Since I was a kid I've been a huge early 70s MOPAR fan, particularly the B and C-bodies. Seeing this after being inactive on beam for a little while has brought some serious joy! With accurate colours and an insane amount of customisation, I've essentially been able to make a diet Chrysler New Yorker, complete with the rim-blow steering wheel (which I was most surprised to see) and gold brougham interior. Given how rare these kinds of cars are getting, it is a blessing to have it in-game where it will never rust or be derbied (in my game at least ). Huge thanks for this mod.
Are these horsepower numbers gross or net? I feel the 440 in R/T trim should have a bit more HP than the 305hp it has in the game
It's always net in-game and I highly doubt LJ falsely inputted any gross HP numbers as net. If there are discrepancies it's probably because year-specific fuel systems haven't been implemented yet, so changes in the real-life output from year to year (this was the start of the Malaise era) can't be simulated.
One thing I have seen is that on the Slant Six, combined with the Stage 3 Performance Long Block, the redline goes up to 8500rpm, but the torque curve in the JBEAM of the Slant Six only goes up to 8000 RPM, so it only revs up to said 8000 RPM (+- 1 RPM given how BeamNG's engine works)
in fact im pretty sure by the end the 440 was pushing even LESS power then 305. would be cool to have removable emissions equipment for a power boost
I absolutely love everything this mod does. Especially the interactive elements! Openable hood scoop for the ramcharger? What a silly thing to implement, but I'm so glad it's there, complete with an interior button and everything. Gold standard honestly. One thing that is a shame though is that we cannot operate the rear antenna without the front one being installed. The dashboard triggerbox does not show up for it. Also, I find the window rolling to have a rather satisfactory speed to it. Would you mind porting the settings over to your Dynamo? I've always found its windows to roll rather slowly. Legitimately my #1 favourite mod as of now, awesome stuff, and you're telling us it's meant to have even more content? Dang, super interested to see!
