Old japanese cars had these warning chimes if you go over 105 kmh (66mph). It would be nice to see them ingame.
Automatic Powertrain Updates Like Smart Control this time. - Throttle Coef Control Per Shift (Replaces Throttle Coef Shifting). This is a smarter system than Throttle Coef Shifting, which releases the throttle smoothly and precisely before shifting to the next gear. - Torque and Power Per Gear Limit (This applies to all modern engines, including NA and Force Induction engines). This is another smart control. In modern automatic gearboxes, many manufacturers implement this to prevent excessive shock in the gearbox, especially in engines with very high torque and power. This is done not only to reduce wheel spin, but also to protect the gearbox and driveshaft from stress, thus preventing damage to the gearbox and driveshaft. - Shift Point RPM Change per Gear This is the second smart control. This next shift point is directly related to number 1 above. When the RPM exceeds this shift point, the throttle will be released. For example, at this shift point, the RPM is set at 6000. Once the engine RPM reaches 6000 or more, the throttle will be slowly released to shift. - Shift Point RPM Delay per Gear (Replaces Transmission Gear Change Delay) This is the third smart control, still related to number 2. This controls the gear shift timing mentioned in number 2 above. When the RPM exceeds the shift point mentioned in number 2, there will be friction, similar to that found in a DCT clutch. In an automatic transmission, this is more related to the friction between the sun gear and planetary gear clutch.
I'm looking forward to the new tire physics. (also a german map would be nice, apart from the etk test track)
Maybe the full map of Portugal... I always wanted to drive my car throughout Portugal without leaving my house.
higher maximum LOD bias ($pref::TS::detailAdjust). The current value is 2, resulting in distracting pop-in from lower detail models. My system can run pretty much all maps with a value of 4 without issue. I used to use CarKiller's Extreme Graphics mod to increase this, but he has discontinued working on that mod. Changing the values in the game-settings.cs and game-settings-default.cs does not work, since they are overwritten on game launch. I can run TorqueScriptLua.setVar("$pref::TS::detailAdjust", 4) in the console as a workaround, but it would be nice to have higher detail available for high spec systems or low resource requirement maps.
We need simplified heavy duty vehicles. The Ai struggles to turn them though, but that could be solved if they only spawn on highways. Also Hopper and SBR4 for traffic.
