The T-Series platform would be suitable for a garbage truck, it would just need a shorter cab.

Hard to say for sure to be honest, there's only like 20 beams in the image so at this point its guesswork. Personally I think it's something that nobody expects

I take it back, the T Series could actually work especially based on second image...
If we get a stubby cab it'll open so many doors for cranes and stuff
    --- Post updated ---
If it is that long it's probably some kind of crusher prop then. Or some kind of giant industrial vehicle.

While I don't agree with the garbage truck idea, I do see an opportunity to talk about cool trucks...

The TC-Series is very close to the Freightliner FLA, which did come in a cab forward version.
    Freightliner.jpg

The MD is far too new to get a COE version (That would have been more appropriate for a 50's/60's MD) but refuse trucks can be found based on traditional cab medium duty trucks

Its not a garbage truck or a trailer
if it would be a truck, you would see the frame, since the suspension is mounted to the frame with slidenodes and rails and the frame is tiffened up with torsion bars
if it would be a trailer, you would see the legs, they are made out of slidenodes and rails too
its 25 meters long (82.02 ft) and it uses too many slidenodes to be a vehicle thing.
slidenodes are only used for structural things, or when things slide in and out
torsion bars are used on swaybars, frames and other flat strucctures, like doors (on t series)

Not sure about this specific section, but many elements of the grid map can be easily turned off in the world editor

If it is too big to be a vehicle, then maybe it is a prop? Like, some absurdly large car crusher?
Yeah, the latest update was already about props... but who knows, maybe devs want prop update part 2.

The vehicle it appears to be... DRAGGING some sort of line or something. Its HUGE compared to a normal vehicle so. Some sort of construction vehicle with a lot of moving parts?

I just realized what it is. It might be a heavy duty wrecker... An actual crane wrecker truck. The big guns from highway through hell possibly...

It's maybe one of three things, a highway through hell level crane tow truck, a industrial level something which I can't pinpoint or put a finger on quite yet. Or something like a cable something. Whatever it is it has to do with cables. Or lines or something. Do they call tow truck cables lines?

Well now what we need to get clear is that does the missing frame nodes and beams mean this is NOT a truck based vehicle?
Or to be more specific does the devs use some thchnique to hide the frame beams of the vehicle

Maybe they're showing off a coloring for each of the beams and stuff.. better color coding is kind of needed in a lot of development and games these days because there's so many moving parts these days
