While the giant dump truck seems likely, it also wouldn't have much use unless they add a game mechanic to pick up large rocks or whatnot to load into its' bed. Although, if this is a multi-vehicle update, I wonder if a mobile crane is in the pipeline? I remember MuYe pointing out that the porta-potty got a rigging sling in a previous update, so I have been under the assumption that a crane has at least been seriously considered for a while.
My theory is that the first Teaser was just a dump truck upside down. That's all, unless we're also getting other construction vehicles too
A crane would be awesome! Especially something super heavy duty, like a Liebherr. There's a crane upfit available for the T-Series, but it's very easy to tip over, not really made for rescuing cars out of ditches.
About new cover - does someone know where to get a better resolution image of full-scale cover? I tried to search for it but didn't find anyone showing it. Like from this preview:
the new game cover shows the cars on a four-lane road in a desert environment. it looks like Johnson Valley, but the main road I see in the actual map is a two-lane road. does this mean we might get improvements to Johnson Valley?
I wonder what's really in store for maps. Nothing major beside the usual WCUSA tweaks has been going on since pretty much the release of Johnson Valley (excluding the new island). There has also been talk in the past about the devs trying some new concepts but never finishing or releasing them.
Yeah, but that was the vertical version. I am talking about a wider one, as from photo I posted in my previous message. Was able to cut it more. When I told about "wider" version, I meant this: (but with better resolution of course, although as I said, I couldn't find such)
Don't know what company could make this truck, but I know what company could make the engine for it and it's Belasco-Diesel. Only this company could make such an engine.
depending on the maker and what brand its parodying it could be the maker of the truck made the engine
Also, don't forget that the Hydraulic Pump and PTO simulation is also used for the stabilizer legs at each of the crane's 4 corners, so that the crane doesn't tip over. Up until now, along with the crane, we haven't seen this feature either!
The truck itself could be anything, probably Hirochi or Ibishu (Hitachi/Komatsu - the names already almost there) or even a new brand based on CAT. I could also see it being a Wentward or Randolph's first motor vehicle
