Same people who want weird obscure brands that 99.9% of the population has never heard of over anything reasonable and enjoyable for most users I suppose. Respectfully I'd take a dump truck any day over yet another random 90s car
The three front mirrors on the bus are actually Detailed Mirrors in the teaser, but in the game they are just Dynamic Reflection mirrors
I can appreciate adding obscure cars/vehicles, as long as it's a type of vehicle we don't have yet. I still think we need some older exotic cars.
Oh yes 100% wouldn't mind some older exotics, I'd love to see something retro 911/Turbo inspired, but the Bolide sort of captures that type of vehicle as a competitor, pretty sure its supposed to be a 308 - they're completely different, but also the same both being classic exotics. It sort of feels pointless adding another vehicle in the same class when there's completely absent ones. It would be cool, but it would be even cooler to get a whole different experience
True, but there's only so much fun you can have with a tin can before you wanna get into a giant haul truck and destroy everything. But something like a modern SUV or pickup would be great because it's something we don't currently have. Even a modern (2020+) sedan with crappy configs maybe, but that starts overlapping with the Bastion
They are selectable in parts selector. The dynamic mirrors are not equipped by default because they make a pretty big performance hit
The first thing that came to my mind after seeing the teaser is : that's an industrial fork loader for sure . Here's why : - The bus was not power sliding cause the speedo meter was at 0 , meaning the rear wheels were not moving at all - A school bus weight around 30 000lbs , in average . So serious lifting capabilities are needed in order to move a bus sideways. - We can see the fork ''arms '' , '' joints '' or '' articulations '' shadows many times in the trailer ( sorry im not forklift certified lol ) as shown in the attached pictures. - It seems like the bus was sliding sideways at an angle judging by the rear view mirror - Its massive and the 2 first teasers validate that point . So yeah , im pretty sure this is a heavy machinery update . Im pretty sure its going to have different front attachments too . Maybe there will be a use for it in Career Mode like being able to load stuff ourself on some flatbed trailers in order to deliver it ? Or loading cars on trailers using the same forks system like so many junkyard or car auctions do ? Thats pretty nice if this is what they are cooking ! Not to mention the crushing capabilities those things have by simply driving over stuff and such !
Personally, I'd love a 60s Italian GT with a V12 (like a Ferrari 250 GT Lusso), a 50s sports car with a big straight six (like a 300SL or DB5), and a 30s art deco fastback coupe with a gigantic supercharged straight eight . But I can understand that's unlikely to happen, since most people don't care for cars like that
Same here haha cant wait to see if we were right about this ! Speaking of which , when does the December usually releases ?
Smh adding giant fun destruction machine before a 3rd gen Taurus look alike who would ever be in favor of that
I think both is good, once in a while add something that's not just a car and maybe sometimes a car. I think that's what makes BeamNG updates so fun. There isn't any expectations of what to add next since its entirely based on what the team wants, and there is no pressure from real life to add the next new car that comes out. They can add whatever the hell they want to and it's fine because it's a sandbox car game at the end of the day, That being said i wouldn't mind a pony car
Id like to see more european classics, We have enough jdm stuff for quite a while. I cant wait to use some heavy equipment when the update releases, it something different and more ways to wreck a car
