I have no idea other than that they’ll be big, probably much larger than any T-series engine. If I had to wild guess I’d say 18-27 liter diesel

“Liaison incoming” might be indicating some sort of joint venture? That could possibly confirm a new brand for the heavy equipment

Nope. I feel like it's going to be teamwork related where multiple machines have to work together to make something be done smoothly. Like the loader and the hauler trucks at a mine. That confirms that its 100% those two trucks. That word can also describe two cranes or tow trucks teaming up. Im just guessing using a dictionary so forgive me

I didn’t mean that liaison is the name of the brand, just saying whatever the brand is, it might be a joint venture between companies in lore.

Or it could just refer to the vehicles working together.

Though the more I think about it, I still feeling like they’ll be a Swedish brand. I looked through the wiki article for Volvo construction equipment and they do have a long history of joint ventures with other companies. Plus I’m trying to think about this from a dev’s point of view, and adding a new Swedish brand would open opportunities to filling several niches, one of which is obviously heavy equipment. As mentioned earlier, the brand could later include passenger cars, SUV models, euro cab over truck/bus and possibly a more modern conventional truck.

Sweden is one of the last major automotive industry European countries not represented by at least one brand in game, we already have Germany (ETK), France (Cherrier), Poland (FPU) and Italy (Autobello and Civetta) so I feel like adding Sweden is a no brainer at this point. (Keep in mind this is just me spitballing, my assumption about how the devs think may or may not be correct so take this with a grain of salt.)

If they're adding Sweden this update, I think we'll only be missing a british (and maybe a russian/communist country) brand to really complete Europe imo.

 

Considering EVERYTHING russia etc has been doing I dont believe theyre gonna add anything traumatic into their game. Ever. They wouldnt survive the criticism by multiple different countries in multiple different ways by a lot of people.... Basically it would be like driving a nail through your own chest if youre a game dev today and do something like that... I hope they never dare do that or a lot of already traumatized people will leave the game and it will nosedive

British I bet they will totally add something of theirs in. They technically already did with the reliant robin x2 original vehicles in the game.

 

Tbh, I'd love to see a Swedish brand in BeamNG with all the vehicle proposals you mentioned but, especially, the typical 2-ton RWD Swedish Brick Wagon with I4s, I5s and I6s!
A Swedish Hypercar would be great too, although this is gonna be hard in terms of aesthetics...
Generally, Sweden has a great automotive potential in BeamNG!

 

I'm kind of holding off and waiting for them to add a Prius or something lol. Im gonna be waiting for that to be added in lol. Anyway. I know for a fact they need to tred carefully as hell (pun not intended) on adding ANYTHING from countries that are stepping on throats and committing war crimes rn. If the world was a better place 99% of people wouldnt care what beam adds in but rn everyone cares quite a lot honestly

Im willin to throw the us under the bus as well if things keep getting much worse irl... Anyway. Enough of that topic. Im curious if there will be attachments or some sort of world destructive physics and deformation etc. are we gonna be carrying giant stone blocks or something?

A joint venture? But with who?
The original post and his are about Carmageddon but I'm not really seeing how they are supposed to cooperate with a game known for its brutality and murdering pedestrians.
