That's great to know! I wish I had a job I was so passionate about to work on sundays by my own wish. Keep being awesome!
Every holiday update except for 0.15 has increased the peak player count, and all of them (except 0.11) have increased the average player count (in the past three holiday updates, by 2,000-3,000 players). I don't think 0.38 will break 0.27's record performance (+3,025 average players, +4,618 peak players), but it could come close. Even without a regular vehicle, Randolph's not lacking for content. If you count trailers as vehicles, they already have seven (container, dry van, flatbed, frameless dump, log, and tanker trailers and the trailer dolly), and several of those have multiple length variants. And that's not including the tilt deck trailer or any of the five small trailers (some semi-trailer companies, like Felling Trailers, also make smaller trailers for utility companies). East Manufacturing, based in Randolph, Ohio, also makes dump truck and flatbed upfits for semi trucks. Great Dane makes box truck upfits for chassis-cab trucks, as does Hyundai Translead. So, it's possible that Randolph made some (or many) of the upfits for the Gavril trucks. Honestly, I'm perfectly happy with Randolph staying as a trailer and upfit manufacturer. It looks like at least one of the new vehicles will be a Hirochi, so the devs likely agree with me on that. It would not surprise me if the complexity of the loader/haul truck (and the new prop and mine) were so great that the devs had to crunch a little to release 0.38 early enough in the month. It could also be that the devs are so excited about these big vehicles that they're showing them off like parents with their newborn babies. There probably won't be a comically large stroller to roll them around in, though.
It's fairly likely - however, there are several other places in the US called Randolph (like the one in Massachusetts, which is a city). I don't think any of the other 20-odd Randolphs in the US (or the one in Canada) has a semi-trailer-manufacturing business. It could also be that Randolph was the last name of the founder of the business, and has no relation to geography.
I wouldn't leave it out of the equation, we've gotten quite an influx of teasers in the past few days. Similarly to how the Bruckell Nine got us a good look at the vehicle a day or two before release last year. My bet is either tomorrow or Tuesday.
