Yea I saw you are working on something similar.

 

The H series is not too modern as it was produced from 1993 and not unique. I see plenty of white chevy vans just like it all around the city.

Yes but in European countries (like Germany where I am from) there are almost no American brands like Jeep or Ford. In BeamNG this isn’t true. I see random Gavril D-Series or Wendivers driving at the ETK Center or in Italy. There is an option in the settings to change that, but it doesn’t work for me.

Well I see a lot of Covets and BX on WCUSA.

 

Those have USDM configs

 

No I see the JDM, so the RHD configs and the Diana BX.

 

They were sold in the US market, and the configs that spawn have US plates. In the simplified traffic EU configs have EU in their config name, all others are US only

 

Maybe 7.5% chance for pre 1990s and 0.5% chance for super cars like Civettas.

Supercars even less: 0.25 percent. and same for pre 1940's cars.

 

They wont ever make pre 1980s traffic cars. As AgentMooshroom5 said, they would need to make completely new simplified traffic base for a vehicle that old. Scintilla and SBR4 and Hopper should be added to the traffic. Agentmooshroom5 did confirm the Hopper and some MD series configs would be added.

 

Thats good. The T-Series + Trailer should be added too.

 

I think their waiting till they add more systems to the Ai to support large vehicles

 

Maybe, because I spawned a bus manually in traffic and it couldnt handle that one turn in WCUSA.

I'm still not 100% on the SBR, but where in this convo did the Scintilla enter? I don't know where you live, man, but in my experience, exotics like the Scintilla make 80s cars look like the Toyota Camry in terms of rarity.

Hard agree on the Hopper, though.

 

Spawn percentage would have to be adjusted, but I live in a major west coast city, and Fri-Sun, it feels like I’ll see a supercar (Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren) if I spend any decent amount of time downtown or a nice neighborhood.

 

I live in a fairly small US metropolitan area in the Pacific Northwest, and there's a fair few more exotic cars in my area. '80s and '90s cars are still quite common here (and there's also been quite a few '90s Japanese cars imported here over the past couple years, like a first Stagea RS 260 and a late-'90s Crown Royal Saloon Four). Here's a selection of the more exotic cars I've seen in the past year or so:

-Two Porsches (a 987 Cayman at a local car show and a 981 Boxster parked at a local bank)
-A BMW i3
-A Ferrari 308
-A Cadillac XLR
-At least two Chevrolet SSRs
-A Chevrolet SS
-An X350 Jaguar XJ
-A Mercedes-Benz R-Class

For a big city like Belasco, an SBR4 would be quite mundane - a Scintilla would be quite rare.

Also, I feel like the Wydra could still spawn as a parked vehicle only (not sure if that's possible, though) - there's someone near me who has at least one amphibious ATV.
