HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA no OP: Try creating a partition (~50 gb) and install Windows on it. Try a few games to see if it works properly.
i think he means get a portable hard drive and install windows on it and a few games and see if it laggs
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disk_partitioning One of first hits on google. Bluescreen basically wants you to dual boot a 2nd copy of windows on that PC and see if the 2nd copy is effected. Needlessly complicated in my opinion. What background software is running? Thinks like random webcam softwares and DVD drive softwares that OEM's load onto their machines and can safely be uninstalled etc.
okay, can someone tell me why the lag lessens when there is a YouTube video playing in the background?
I don't know if this has been stated already but how many login items do you have upon start up? Those often use a lot of hardware, causing some unresponsiveness. Check for background processes/ unresponsive tasks, as both of these will cause some system slowdown.
okay, so three days ago my PC was left on overnight, when I woke it up from sleep mode there were errors evrywere and a message that said "close programs to avoid memory loss" the program was IE, so I closed IE and everything started running fine. but I think if I shut down my PC, it will start lagging again. also kinda offtopic in my own thread, my post logging thing isn't working.
