is it just me, or is this season of top gear just way more awesome then usual (and top gear is already pretty darn awesome)
Norton deleted some files and you have noticed no difference other than your system running faster. Thats hardly something to complain about. In any case it may be worth making a backup of them if you think they were important so you can restore them if any issues occur. But its totally possible that they were infected, maybe they weren't, who knows.
Gonna try Morrowind. Since all the people giving Skyrim negative reviews are butthurt fans saying Morrowind was better, guess I might as well see what's so good about it. Also, test if my second PC can run games from 2002. It did run HL2 at a very unstable 25 FPS on medium settings, but that's a game from 2004 with amazing graphics for its time.
If you are having issues running games from 04 with a r9 270 at 1080p and at a decent frame rate then you are doing it wrong.
Second PC. Intel G31 integrated graphics, 2007. And a 1280x1024 CRT, no 1080p. 1 GB of RAM. Only thing decent in this PC is the CPU, a Q6600. I plan on buying an old GPU for it eventually, like a 9800GTX. And some more RAM of course. My rig can actually get 200+ FPS in HL2 maxed out :|
God I'm so tired of this point of view. You wanna know why the south flips its shit when it snows? Because we aren't prepared for it. Yeah, we'll get one or two decent snows a year (>2in), but we just kinda work around it. Here's a good example. The city of Boston has over 400 plow trucks. You wanna know how many memphis has? 14. Fourteen plow trucks for the whole city of memphis. It's because they're not gonna spend millions on something they'll use once every 5 years. As for your school system; they're trying to cover their asses. They don't want students or busses driving around on icy roads to get to school because they could be partially liable, and get a TON of shit from the media if someone wrecks and gets themselves killed/hurt really bad.
Its a good game, there is a lot of things to do besides the campaign Also a lot of stuff keeps you entertained like Karma events.
I won't be playing it until I get my 970 and finish this game of Skyrim though. First because I want to max out the graphics, the latter because I hate playing more than one game at a time.
