Do I see SubSurf/TurboSmooth? That is not adviced to use if you plan bringing the model to BeamNG. If you bought BeamNG (Can't see, you haven't activated your forum account yet), navigate trough the official cars folders and import the DAE in Blender to have a general idea on how the polyflow should look like.
I will buy it on steam, but to bad that is still not appeared. Im waiting. The Subsurf (2x) is only for showing in renderpictures. Here is a picture of the unoptimized polmesh for ingame (imported from here)
If you want that car to crash as well as possible in-game, you'll want to change the poly flow to triangles...
Not true. Exporting the mesh as DAE or whatever it's called turns the squares into triangles automatically so you don't need to do it yourself at all, some people even advice not to model in triangles at all. I think he should try to get a more grid like polyflow though.
Absolutely love old Saabs! Especially some of the newer ones, like the 2011 9-5 and 9-5 Sport Combi. Beautiful... Saab 99 Turbo is life <3 Any progress on this car?
Yep, leave as quads in the modeler so normals can be calculated smoother, when exported it's made into triangles keeping the nice normals .
