A USB type c and an audio jack. Wow. There aren't any type c devices out yet and you lose USB to charge (but I think stock charger is meant to have a USB port on it for data transfer while charging). Shouldve at least kept thunderbolt and a card reader too.
For some reason my game is stuck at 25-35 FPS on small grid. Tried the racetrack map, 20-22 FPS. Pausing physics does nothing, so not a CPU problem, and GPU is at 98% load. A few months ago I got 40-50 FPS on the most intensive maps, the hell happened?
Mostly just the obvious, kill it if there is grinding noises, etc. You'll probably hear a beep (or two, depending on the BIOS). If there are many beeps, you probably made a mistake, or a part failed. It won't do much without an OS...
I would not recommend buying an OEM, simply because you can't really upgrade the computer very much. I have yet to find Windows 7 that is non-OEM in the past month...
OEM Windows 7 is tied to your MB, if you replace the board, or put the drive containing the OS in another PC, the OS will be unusable. Often, if you replace the GPU, the OS will also become unusable. In addition, there are legal issues, as I learned in this article.
An OEM OS is intended for retailers rather than end users. I'm not sure if the free update to Win10 applies to OEM systems. Other than that there's no difference AFAIK, and they are cheaper. - - - Updated - - - So that's the difference. It won't be unusable, it will be unlicensed though.
Only thing I've ever nabbed was an rFactor exe... even then I'm wiping it when I buy the Steam version.
i'd pirate a graphics card and power supply if that was possible otherwise i just pirate games to see how they run on my pc (as sadly almost 0 games come with demo's these days, especially triple A games
I would pirate a car if I could. Fuck you, DVD anti-piracy ads. Sometimes I do that too, only to see if I actually like the game. I don't want to throw £30 or more at a game I might or might not like. Never pirate indie games though, those companies actually need the money.
I just ordered an oil sample kit thing for the crown vic. You put a little bit of oil out of your engine into it, then send it off to their labs and they tell you what they found in the oil, down to every molecule. Can't wait to see how bad of shape this engine is in. http://www.blackstone-labs.com/
Any hype that I had in the beginning has long since died down. It's been 5 months. :| I agreed to buy it, but not money nor car will be transferred not until the title comes in. The sample kit itself is free, it doesn't cost you until you send the oil off to get tested, so it's impossible to go wrong with it.
