Yo I'd love an Autobello van, even though we technically already have one. You know, a modern one based on the Ducato. ETK could be cool too though. As much as I'm not a fan of modern German cars, I do agree we could get another. I would personally love to see a modern ETK SUV that I could use for roleplaying as Czech police again. Interesting. Didn't realize the K-Series was that old. I would also love to see another Euro map. France would be nice definitely. I'm interested to see how official French plates would look like. Really hoping we get more modern transmissions out of this thing that could then be ported over to the T-Series as well lol.
A Ducato-esque van would be pretty reasonable, since we've had the Ducato sold in the US as the Ram ProMaster since 2014. However, I think the devs would want to go with something closer to the Mercedes Sprinter, since that's been in the US for far longer (since 2002) and is more popular. As for an ETK crossover, I agree - we already have the platform for it, and it's a vehicle archetype we're currently missing (luxury SUV/crossover), so it would be neat to see in-game. ETK Driver Experience Center will turn 10 years old in two days (it was released very early in the morning on the 5th of October, 2016).
I've always liked that map, it looks quite modern, despite being 10 years old. I do wish it was a bit bigger though.
Do European trucks have DEF(diesel exhaust fluid) tanks, or is that just an American thing(that we hate)?
For the sake of vehicle diversity, I think the devs would actually gravitate towards the Ducato. Not only because it's sold under Italian, French, German, British, Japanese, and American brands, but also because the Ducato is built on a FWD unibody platform whereas vans like the Sprinter and Transit are traditional RWD body-on-frame vehicles.
Depends. French stuff tends to be fwd but stuff like ford transits and mercedes sprinters are rwd in their bigger and longer configurations (tipper vans are predominantly rwd)
Those are both fair points. However, we already have a FWD unibody cargo van with a European version (the Lansdale), so I'm not sure if the devs would want to make another. They don't really tend to make FWD cargo-hauling vehicles at all: -FWD: 2 (Lansdale, Covet Incapable (non-factory)) -RWD: 8 (Nine, Miramar, D/H/MD/T, HT-55, Pigeon) -AWD/4WD: 5 (Stambecco, D/H/MD, Lansdale) I'm not sure why the devs have an aversion to making FWD utility vehicles (as they're quite common IRL), but my best guess is that the RWD ones can haul/tow more, so there's little point in making a FWD utility vehicle. (And the RWD ones tend to be BOF, which is easier to make more versions out of (see: Gavril trucks, Cherrier truck).) I'm not saying it's impossible, and I wouldn't be against it at all. But I wouldn't be surprised if the devs went with a Sprinter- or Transit-esque design over a Ducato-like one, based on previous releases.
