i guess iirc american timezone is CST instead of CEST. I think all updates are being dropped at 4pm CEST (german timezone)
Honestly, I'm really excited to see how bouncy this truck is. It looks fun to drive with all the new features.
it'd cool to compare it with the t-series. I'm also interested in the way how first person camera works because of Bob (aka the new playermodel)
its got the incredible gassy seat (muye's words not mine) so probably "very" honestly im kinda looking forward to seeing Bob actively cause stuff to happen in cars simply due to him existing. honestly after all these years do i notice how... "odd" the concept of a completely empty car driving around is.
The problem is that a lot of people seem to be taking this fact and drawing much bigger conclusions with it, I.e implying that because the crusher is missing from the preview, half of 0.40 is being with-held from CCs and that there will be loads of more configs for the Percheron. If you’re looking for the conspicuously absent car crusher and using that as evidence to hold your breath for way more 0.40 content than is shown, you’re going to be sorely disappointed when 0.40 rolls in tomorrow.
We saw images of the GT-IV bodykit for the K-Series way before it was released, it's possible that they're waiting to release the car crusher in 0.41.
Here. Ma'am...you can't just do that. That's highly important game content. You don't see me gobbling logs and chomping on the metal coils. In all seriousness, we'll probably see the car crusher in a hotfix or maybe 0.41, if it doesn't appear in 0.40. It's not the first time a prop's been teased long before it was added (see: spike strips). (I know that in that instance, the spike strips were advertised as a "maybe" addition, like the dyno was.) And before that, the MR Turbo Covet was teased way before it was released in 0.26. However, since 0.28, content has almost always been teased for the next update, not a few updates after it.
They already were released with the many other props (including the big ball) in 0.37 - that was over a year ago. There's like, 15 different versions of the strips, and AFAIK, the AI police use them in roadblocks. That might be the case for this update, but there have been plenty of updates since 0.25 that have come out sooner - for example, 0.30 dropped at 11:00 CEST, and many other updates were released by 1:00 CEST.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that one... Has anyone checked the number of flatbed trailer configs and compared to the current game version? Or even the T-Series, it could be a new upfit (I think it's unlikely but yeah)
Just noticed career UI has the multiplayer chat on it, meaning we will likely get multiplayer career mode --- Post updated --- We already know its done though --- Post updated --- I am not saying there will be some huge new thing besides the crusher and maybe a few more percheron configs. TalkWithNoise (I think it was him, or maybe another CC) already mentioned unised files in the percheron and in muyes video he shows unused parts.
I think the Cherrier Percheron, might be the most interactable vehicle in game with all the moving parts "And let's not forget the moving headlights", shown in Myue's video. I'm happy to finally see a EU Semi truck in the game, and I'm really happy to see more detail being added.
We seem to be forgetting the first teaser of the Percheron with all the different frame options. Different lengths, 3 rear axles, steer axles on different frame lengths etc. probably the same thing that happened with the T-series and its fragmented update.
I think the best unused parts moreso imply the Percheron will be a multi-update vehicle, like the T-series
