Just a bit currious, is there any more progress on this mod being made? or is it pretty much done
I would absolutely love to see a 'ute' in BeamNG. Of course I could do it but I dont wanna screw up the car either... And I have little modeling experience so I would MOST likely end up screwing up the textures if I even removed anything.

It is absolutely not done... I just finished (although it needs improvements it seems) the T65 race mod... It takes some time to get things right, I've got lots of other IRL stuff I'm busy with and I don't get payed for this so it isn't my first priority ;) The pressurewheels part is as good as finished, but both new bodies needs lots of work (mesh and jbeam).

    Thanks guys!

I've spend some time adjusting the meshes, the ute is hard to get right. I've chopped the roof of the station and slighlty adjusted the sides, but the wall between the cabin and bed is hard to get right. Especially when I don't want to make new textures; I've got to copy and remold parts keeping to keep their textures :p

Quite fond with the t-top, some small bugs but I think it looks nice. In the screenshots the left side has no t-top roof, the right side a glass roof (hard to be seen). A metal body colored version will be an option as well.
@ synsol, there won't be a convertible, a t-top fits the era better I think. (Look at the 1978 Mustang 2, Thunderbird, Corvette, Firebird, Dodge Magnum etc)

T-top is so damn 70's awesome, just like the Buicks and Old's of the day. Nice job. Can't wait to take a monster family screen of all this.:p

You are right about the TTop , i've include some pictures of what i imagine, note the horrible limo that i'm sure we all want to do some jump and crash with . ( Sorry for my poor english)

Thanks! I agree the T-top fits the 70's perfectly. And it's easier to create

Did you put the mod files in the original moonhawk folder...? It looks like that.

You are right about the TTop , i've include some pictures of what i imagine, note the horrible limo that i'm sure we all want to do some jump and crash with . ( Sorry for my poor english)[/QUOTE]

I think a limo should be based on a full size car like a Lincoln or Caddy... Not a mid size. Looks odd I think.

    - I've implemented MrAngry's idea for a new grill. He put quite some effort in making some examples so I quickly made this one. There's no grillfill yet. (so no Bruckell logo)

    - Thereby added a rear view of the ute, it doesn't look that great but I'm afraid that's all what I can do without mapping... The bottom of the bed can't be flat due to the suspension.

    - Also the 'noseconefill' showed in this post doesn't look that great. I wan't it to look a bit like a early/mid 1970's Chevelle but it doesn't look great. I do want to alter it a bit to have a flat surface for a licence plate.

Any suggestion or opinions about those three issues?

I think you should leave the grille split for the Ute, but make the center bit body color and put the B logo there. Itll have a very Oldsmobile feel.

How badly would I screw up the textures of the 3D model if I attempted to modify the moonhawk model myself?

You mean if you tried to change the front fascia? I was doing pretty well until I imported the DAE into the game and ended up with a planetarium. The biggest issue was modifying the grille but if you have some decent knowledge you should be fine. ;)

I'd have to research a bit but I agree with DirectUA about the grill "square". It looks "Buicky" without it but I think with some more refinememnt and
the Bruckell pin it should be fine. If I were working on this I'd have to decide on the general direction of the look compared to the line of real life
vehicles the Moonhawk most resembles and tweak from there.

I can't believe I saw you type "limo". A 6 ton limo based on a modified Moonhawk chassis and beam would so fucking epic I piss myself just thinking
about it. Not pushing you man but good god the thought!.

Your mods are so damn cool and varied it's simply amazing. Thank you.

That's basically a 1985 El Camino front end, and I'm OK with it:

AR162B, I have been observing the 'ute' and there is something I feel you should change.
Look at the back end, Notice how the edges bevel inwards. From all the Ute's I have looked at, and the few I made on ROBLOX(When I still played, yes, I made cars there,) None of them had edges that were as beveled as the 2 rear corners.
Just something you could look into.

And I hope you keep the headlights side by side. That would make the moonhawk look a little better.

I made my own form of the Ute... Since I am new to modeling this is going to be great practice :D
I plan on refining this some more down the road.

Note that I only deleted parts of the station wagon, and the interior is still there. And it wasn't a super clean cut either. Blender hurts my eyes after awhile, and I missed a couple spots.

I am still working on my varriant... But there is a hole in the bed when I remove the rear seats...
Where is the texture responsible for this? I cant seem to locate it.

So the color selector for this mod is broken? I've done everything under the sun and then some. What am I missing?
