Forgetting that I just ranted on the post you quoted....

I'm interested to hear your FPS on small grid with the Moonhawk and the sunburst. AMD has been hovering as an upgrade option for me and I would like to hear framerates.

I didnt smoke any Intel processors to get high. Sorry.
I try to keep my system cooled off enough so processors dont smoke. AMD or Intel.
My laptop runs an Intel Pentium at a similar speed and I get worse FPS on lowest settings, so I guess you have the better low end CPU.
My desktop has an AMD A8 5500 APU(Dont worry, I have another GPU that Im using so my integrated graphics are OFF.)
I can pull 60 FPS on maps with no extreme vegetation, and an unstable FPS with DRI and ECA...
Although if I remove the town from ECA, I can probably get 60 FPS.

    GUYS;

Look, I didnt mean to start an argument... I just wanted to show that the people asking for optimization were using AMD CPU's or low end Intel CPUs.
And once again, Im not into getting high on Intel.

The AMD issue with this game is that AMD CPU's tend to have more but less powerful cores. Intel tend to have fewer but more powerful cores. In some circumstances more cores that are less powerful is a good thing, in others having less cores that are more powerful is a good thing. BeamNG likes having powerful cores, so the cheaper AMD CPU's tend to struggle because an individual core cant run a vehicle.

Its not a case of Intel being better than AMD, they have both chosen slightly different stratergies and in the case of BeamNG Intel's stratergy works better.

    @the original poster

Check what your GPU usage reads as being in something like MSI Afterburner or precision X etc.

Simple solution; Simulate one vehicle across 2 or more cores.

Once that happens, then I can keep my AMD Processor.
But until then, Intel has a great money maker.

And it is a case of Intel being better. AN AMD 8 core doesnt even reach the top of certain benchmark tests. Intel owns the top on most, if not all of them.
I prefer AMD, because of price and my normal range of gaming(Old games, Some early 2000's games,) but cheaping screwed me over(Cheaping is basically a form of cheating on yourself... Yeah.)

Oh well, In a few years I can afford a rig to go out of date in under 24 hours.

    That is being worked on.

As an 8 core AMD owner, I am fairly excited for it.

Solid 60fps with both cars with their default configs. 1080p, post fx on and maxed settings.

Intel is just faster and AMD has been slackin' lately. My 965 holds up to their current FX CPUs and it shouldn't.

When you are calculating the physics for every part of the car 2000 times a second getting that in sync between two cores is not a trivial task. The amount of communication those two cores would need to do is huge. If it was as simple as you made it out to be it would likely be done already.

Ever tried communicating between 2 threads? Not simple. Not simple at all.

If it was easy then I would've done it already.

Forgetting my stupid idea of multi core processing as a solution...

What are the frame-rates of an AMD 8 core chip? Not like its an alternative to an i7, but I would like to know.

And I am asking this from an owner, not a user of another CPU giving me benchmark tests; I looked at those already before coming here. A benchmark is only a set of numbers representing the power of a cpu/gpu/whatever. What matters is what the user is getting in game. I don't need to lecture for half an hour.
Anyway, owners of any of the FX 8 core processors(8000 and 9000 series,)
I'm looking for frame-rates based on testing in the empty gridmap on all cars, at highest settings (excluding Anti Aliasing and some PostFX effects.
If someone could provide framerates of an AMD 8 core processor on every default car(not including props,) and give me FPS levels following my guidelines.
If its needed, my GPU is an MSI Radeon r9 270x 4GB OC edition GAMING, and so far its capable of running beamNG. I can have all my settings on low or high and my FPS difference is only like 3-4 frames between the 2 extremes.

Make sure to list the CPU in use(Like what 8000 or 9000 series it is,) and to list what overclock you have, if any.

Now Please message me the frame-rates, because this is not the place to list the frame-rates.

when i'm playing than my fps decrease if i use modcars or 2 cars on the same time normally my game runs on 40-60 fps on low graphics...

That's kind of how it works. More cars = more physics objects to simulate = less FPS. What are your system specs?
What mods are you using? Some mods are more FPS-intensive than others.

Your username is a little ironic isn't it :p

Its entirely possible that you are facing a GPU bottleneck or a CPU bottleneck. If your performance is basically the same on grid map and on dry rock island then you have a CPU bottleneck.
