    Hello forum.
I have a problem... Cars and maps are in the right folder, but not in game...
    Sulaco Bay is in Documents/BeamNG/Mods
That happened after the latest update.

It's because you installed those stuff wrongly.
"Content" is for mods using the ZIP system.
If you have to install content using the normal "Folder > Files" system, you have to create a "LEVELS" or "VEHICLES" folder in the game directory and drop them there. My map works because it's using the MODS folder, which is a folder made exclusively for additonal content (and that all modders should start using instead of the old folder system). The void is an official map, its zip is "the_void.zip"

No. I install mods in content folder using folders since I started the game and it's been working the entire time. Also using zip files you can't edit jbeam files on vehicles without restarting the game.

I'm not sure if it should work or not, but the one I described it it's sure to work. Anyway the Content folder is meant for official content, not mods.
And you can unzip the mods you want to edit if you want, nobody is obligating you to use them zipped. It's for the majority of the people who just want to play without messing with stuff.

Very informative replies Nadeox. Where did you put your heightmap for Sulaco? The content folder is the only place I can get it to work. While I
think that is a fine location I still don't feel it's the proper place. I suppose if it gets made into a terrain it doesn't really matter where it goes?

"Mods Folder". Overlooked that one. Thanks. I had to move all my cars back into the game after update. No big deal, but wasted 10 minutes when I didn't have to. Thanks for the info.

    In the zip? Wot.
If you import an heightmap ingame using the editor, it creates the .ter file outside your terrain folder (in Documents/BeamNG.Drive/levels) which I think it's a bug. What I do is move that file into the level folder and fix it's location in the .mis file).
