>build a $650 rig >blow up first motherboard (heat) >spend $180 on new mobo and more cooling >break ram slot (ASRock POS) >spend $300 on fancy mobo and Intel CPU >have same old $120 GPU >can't play Minecraft w/ fancy shaders, maxes out graphics modded GTA 4 >mfw logic
I got a new server. YAY. its giant. and that is a average sized keyboard. I think its a 4u size server.
> have $300 pre-built > has igpu that can't run anything but youtube > proceed to play games that i'm not supposed to be able to run also still the most powerful gpu i've ever had man i'm a sad sad person
>have 700$ factory build PC > have a just about 1 year old 750 and an almost 1 year old i5 4460 >somehow max out BeamNG
>Me in a nutshell buy $2000 prebuilt a while ago slowly upgrade buy $300 mobo and CPU Buy $300 GPU break GPU RMA break GPU RMA break GPU be stuck still play games my GPU can't handle I also broke my phone. Forgot the password I temporally set while I sent it to a store to get the screen replaced. Now wiping it and starting over.
your gpu broke again? what the hell do you do to your gpu's, seriously on another topic, 1 core amd e-series amd apu's + 5400rpm hdd = slowest boot times i've ever seen, even that old compaq presario sr1103wm boots faster, and it has an IDE drive and netburst
The first one broke, may or may not have been my fault. Since then it's just been a bunch of crappy refurbs gigabyte is sending me. I think it might also be my PSU.
A 2000 dollar prebuilt... Who the hell has 2k lying around to blow on a computer. Especially a teenager. Aren't we supposed to be saving up for cars and college and shit?
What is the deal with "titles" or whatever with selling cars in the US? Here you just get a paper confirming you paid (you get from the guy you bought it from) that gives you full power over the vehicle to write it on yourself, hand it over an the central vehicle registration office and pay some $$$ to the office, get insurance and you can go rolling? can be done any day you want spontaneously, don't really have to wait for anything.
I've upgraded my PC to the point it's gonna be worth somewhere around £1100-1200 when I add an SSD and new case. I'd totally do a custom water cooled, SLI 980's setup if I could afford it.
Well, you get the title when you buy the car, but it's a proof of ownership of the car. It's a pain when you don't get a title, or none exists like Potato's case. Then waiting and $. But, if you have the title signed over, you pay the tag office to oblige that you got the car, and register it.
First world problem; Had to restore my phone, that updated it to iOS 8.2, jailbrak doesn't work now. Now it's even more apple-y than it was.
that sheet of paper confirming is the title pretty much. Its a VC5 certificate in the UK, highly important document.
I guess that I myself derailed the development screenshots thread It was just supposed to be a reference, but then I thought : "F*** it! It's your chance!"
