Becasue some people are 12 years old inside in a good way, others are 12 years old in the NFS cuztomz, fireflame paint jobs, pf12351 way and thats when you get junk like those trucks.
There is such thing as tasteful modding, its just this thread is for examples of those that havent heard of it. Although the 2 tone paintjob you suggest, not my thing.
Those ridonkulous body kits/exhausts are actually a thing. It's called bosozoku, which basically means "out of control." It's kinda satirical, they're not meant to look cool, just ridiculous.
