Steering wheel only turns 80 degrees?

Also, the driving position is quite odd - can barely see over the steering wheel. Fantastic detail and textures, though.

So I can say three things.
    I'm a bit dissapointed.
Suspension is shit right now( I know you'll work on it)
    Skeleton is so so....

There're no much difference ingame between very high detailed mod ( micro details and ext) and middle detailed cars like official cars made by Gabe , which wrecks better than yours.

But details look awesome. Thank you. I hope we'll see the next version of that mod.

So, I dunno if I'm having a brain fart or not, but I'm still having that missing texture bug, dropped the car under steamapps/beamng/content/vehicles still, well first time I had downloaded the car, first dropped it under documents/beamng/mods and so, got missing textures, then I moved it under the other aforementioned vehicles folder and still having the same problem, am I doing something wrong or anyone else is still having this problem?

Material errors are happening because Beam's virtual filesystem is case sensitive and some paths contain lower-case characters where there should be upper-case etc. You can fix this manually by changing the file names or the contents of the materials.cs file.
Or you can just extract it if that sounds annoying to do.

Installing it to the BeamNG folder in program files will make it be removed every game update, and the developers do not support this anymore.

How to break future updates 101.

Also you guys can drop this in Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods rather than extracting it, since it has the proper file structure.

The only thing that sucks is the fact I can't play with it yet, stupid school.

I can play with it at 3 o'clock, though. YAY!

I see that placing the ZIP in mods directly breaks some material (because in the material.cs some textures have different caps than the files, and the zip thing is quite strict on caps). I would like to see this small problem fixed and be able to use it as a ZIP in the Mods folder (to prevent problem when updating BeamNG and reasons. Is it possible? :)

Mod wise, the vehicle is exceptional. Great care of details and texturing in impressive. Awesome job!

Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0

That, or read the first post where it's very clear, quoting myself:

I have it installed in /Documents/BeamNG.drive/vehicles/preludeSN and works perfect

And yep, this thing needs work! I only have hours of experience with jbeams, didn't receive any official help and none of the guys in the beta group could fix these problems completely, so it's not as simple.

Any improvements are welcomed, feel free to share them via PM if you care to invest time on it.

There will be more versions, of course. This is just the first I've thought it'll be worth releasing.

About the steering wheel rotation, that's my personal choice. I find the steering wheel spinning so fast on the official cars very annoying so I wanted to be able to drive from the inside on my car.

Same goes for the seat position. That's exactly how I sit myself on my car, you can adjust the camera to your liking.

Hope that covers all the comments so far, and thanks for the support!

Re: Honda Prelude SN - ver. 1.0

Come back to me in a few months with your massively outdated vehicle list and lack of new vehicles then :|

First off the model and textures do look amazing and the jbeam is also pretty nicely done :)

However I've found a few little problems and things so far:

First off the trunk is missing the interior for some reason, really pretty noticeable.

The heater control unit has your email showing ingame.

Other little things I think you should change is the driving position is a little low as its hard to see over the steering wheel (and i only mean by a little unless your 5ft tall the steering wheel shouldn't sit above the dash from your perspective.). But the field of view you used in the cockpit view is very nice. Also proper mod folder support and realtime reflections as default should be added and the cubemap optional as that is the main system the game uses now.

    Very nice mod overall though.

Considering our lack of experience I would say the suspension and car handle very well. Calling it shit is going a bit far. Put hours and hours into making it ride good enough for a release. I wish we would have been able to release it at dev quality but if your going to complain and call it shit atleast be greatful.

LOL but he did say thank you! it's fine, I agree that the suspension needs work, wouldn't call it shit either but it's far from what the official cars are, that's a fact.

Unplayable? no, could be better? hell yeah.

Good eye on noticing that on the trunk. That bit is not exactly finished yet. I'll work on it on future updates.
Didn't noticed the email thing there. I've had to add it to all textures to avoid having the model spread all over russian sites without credits.

Don't care about folder support so far, I have no idea what the devs will do next, so I guess I'll just update this car along with the game.
Same goes for reflections. I don't like dynamic reflections at all at this point, car paint looks like mirrors, no falloff, I like the old look better.
Once we get the reflections part improved from the devs, I'll work on it. Not to mention they're FPS killers right now.

I get 0fps drop from them and they look pretty realistic to me. It also gives more of a sense of immersion.

Awesome, I love it. Amazing work, I don't have words for this :D
Only "bad" things: Steering wheel doesn't turn fully, driver position is too close-up. But that's the only things I noticed :p Again, great vehicle, my favorite mod of all times. You made new standards.
