Game crashes when quitting mission

Hello. My game crashes every time I cancel a mission. It takes me straight to the desktop with a choice of reporting the crash. I had a little search around these forums and saw nothing similar. Thanks in advance. (I am on Alpha)

 

Same thing happens to me sometimes, I wouldn't worry about that too much.

 

There are topics on this, the devs know about the problem and are fixing it for the next version

 

The only problem is, to me, it happens every single time. It didn't do this in the demo either.

This tends to happen on the map "Dry Rock Island". Depends on the area of the map you are in. Nothing we can do about this for now until a fix is released.

 

Happens on every single map for me, every single time.

 

Hm, are your settings any different from the demo?

No With or without mods it happens. These are my settings. I use Windows 8.

 

Try setting the lighting quality back to it's normal setting (whatever it is when you install the game). It seems to crash the game when I even change it.

 

Same thing. I guess I'll have to wait for an update.

 

Well graphics settigns seem to be a common cause for a crash for whatever reason, Maybe loading the menu is causing it, Try loading the game with the -no3dgui argument.

 

When I try that it crashes after I try loading a map. edit: the empy grid map works anything else crashes

 

Oh wow, this only leaves me to say that it is possibly your graphics drivers.

 

They're all up to date Nvidia drivers. I have optimus as well btw.
