Doesnt impact anything, the major server load is usually from the game download, everyone that preordered it should have managed to download it by now, even I've managed it.
Yeah such a shit company for both having an entire country dedicated to GTA online servers :| But yeah they'll probably be fine.
Just the UK's amazing communications infrastructure where all the cables outside of a medium-sized town are just rats with SD cards in their collar walking down a plastic drainpipe.
only about 4 times faster although that is steams effective download speed which is in my experience sub 30% of your actual bandwidth (yes actual, not the ISP rated figure, steam just seems to suck at using what its given).
wat steam always uses more bandwidth then my ISP says i actually have (i'm supposed t have 50Mb/s or 6MB/s, but i usually get about 7MB/s)
I'm with the other guys. ISP says I get 50Mb/s down, speedtests all say ~55Mb/s down, Steam gives between 6.2 and 6.8MB/s down depending on what else is using the network.
What website did you preorder from, or didn't you preorder at all? Also, I can't wait to see graphics comparisons of low vs high settings. I want to see if GTA V still manages to look stunning on my craptastic PC.
A guy I know preordered the game for me because I don't have a credit card. And since it's Easter the banks aren't working right now so I have to wait until 14 to transfer him the money and he will send me the code. I also hope there will be less traffic on R* servers on 14. At least the good side is that I picked it up on a bargain, it's activated via Social Club but who cares anyway.
It has taken too long to download this x_x I've been out of the loop for a while when it comes to gaming news; will there be any player hosted server options available? I'm talking dedicated, not co-op.
Don't forget you still have to decrypt the install files which depending on your setup could take from around 5-10 minutes to over an hour.
