Re: STADIUM SUPER TRUCK. BUT... I got some questions. !BIG UPDATE! Thanks to Nickzeboy, we have a fully modeled "trophy truck". it has a fully modeled engine, suspension, tranny, diff, fenders and wheels. the only problem is its very, very high poly and i havnt got a clue on what to do next, jbeam??? anyway, progress! me=roll cage Nickzeboy= remodeled my roll cage and everything else ^^good bloke
I'd just slap the D-15 Offroad jbeam on it and adjust it from there. And you can never go wrong with asking an experienced guy for help. Maybe put that in the first post too. Good work on the modeling so far. Enjoy the bump.
Re: STADIUM SUPER TRUCK. BUT... I got some questions. Wow dude! If you make a high and low poly version that would be awesome. Most people running this game have plenty of horsepower to handle a fairly detailed car at this point.
Re: STADIUM SUPER TRUCK. BUT... I got some questions. "fairly detailed, " well, if its like your 85 chevy, you'll need to lower the number of polys to run on anything other that a top of the range card, and it is in no way necessary.
Re: STADIUM SUPER TRUCK. BUT... I got some questions. yea i know im kind of a polly whore hahahaha i like detail.
Re: STADIUM SUPER TRUCK. BUT... I got some questions. I think that's why the other modelers bake the high poly model on to a low poly one, not sure how or what it does, all i know is it makes it look high poly yet isn't
Re: STADIUM SUPER TRUCK. BUT... I got some questions. well, anyone that has any idea on how to do this is welcome to help me out
Re: STADIUM SUPER TRUCK. BUT... I got some questions. Can lead to bad deformation in game though. Things like tubes. Only need to be 6 or 8 sided unless they are quite large and clearly in view in which case 12 might work better. Smoothing then sorts that out in game and they look round enough.
Re: STADIUM SUPER TRUCK. BUT... I got some questions. i can figure it out since i still have the model lol but if you got someone already thats fine
Dang this looks sick, there is another Trophy Truck in the game as well but it is really unforgiving and flips at the slightest mess up. Will this truck be more forgiving? I'm pumped for this truck, can't wait!
I know it was a dumb question but I don't have much experience with cars in general. I should probably just research it. (Sorry it took so long to respond my internet shut down and I had to get it back up)
Sorry if I'm asking a dumb question, but do projects usually go silent for 3 weeks? Cause I don't want this to be something stuck in WIP forever. Enjoy the bump.
Quite often. Most of these guys are doing these on weekends. Once the game gets a little more complete the mods should pour in similar to what happened with Spin Tires.
Ya, they arent... The last time the creator posted anything about this was 9 months ago. Please don't bump dead threads
