Can you share license keys?

I bought the game and I'm wondering if you can share license keys. I'm on vacation and don't have access to a Windows computer, and my friend wants to play with more features such as multiple cars and different cars.

 

I'm just, out of my own mind say, definitely not.
**edit** Well, maybe between just you and your friend, but not all of the internet.

 

I was thinking the same thing but some software allows you to use the same license key.

 

And why my game never requested my key? I have the drive and it never asked for it. Where should I put it?

 

What if you want to play on a different pc can you link you beamng account to that pc at make it work?

 

I have similar problem I have at home 2 PCs and a installed it on my lower one, cause i thought it can handle it so i want to put it on my other PC will this bann my license?

 

I think I heard that sharing between your pcs is fine but sharing your key with your mates is when they ban the key.

 

Note tdev said the system will ban the key, Aka sharing it with anybody or using it with more than one computer (non-locally I beleive) will ban the key

 

Well yeah for them to ban individual keys themselves would be pretty time consuming...

 

Wait, I used the key on my laptop and my desktop. Is that okay?

 

Does this kinda mean, like if I bought the sim, I couldn't use that key and install it on another computer? Let's say I want to put in on another computer after I bought it, do I need to buy it again in order for me to have it on another computer?

 

I believe you can install on multiple computers because the game doesn't have stupid DRM on it.

 

A secret is something you share with one person at a time. The same thing goes for licence codes. Once you share a code, you can never control what happens next, no matter how trustworthy the person you share with.

Do the decent thing and keep it to yourself.

Does that mean I can type it in to his computer without him seeing it?

 

What about the inevitable IP changes everyone has after some time? Does that cause trouble with license keys?
