I've had a really bad cough for about 4 days now.
Also had to get my eyes cheked.
The results were not that good, but also not that bad.

You realise that jumping to the arabic phrase meaning "God is the greatest" upon seeing arabic writing is about as dumb as me immediately assuming that every single piece of text written in the roman character set is christian writings.

Just came from the cinema, saw Mad Max: Fury Road

To be honest it is probably the best movie i have ever seen. Totally. IT has everything: lots of Cars, lots of speed, lots of supechargers, lots of guns, lots of explosions, some blood and gore, some sad momments of someone dying and naked bitches.
I am so hyped for the game now, all amazing trailers and confirmed native steamos/linux support.

    @Hadacoolname or anybody that cares
Max wrecks his XB Falcon 30 seconds after opening credits (seen in one of the trailers), then it gets repaired and used by the baddies, then it is wrecked once again, this time being the most wrecky wreck wreck about ever. So yeah, the last of the V8's is gone.

Was involved in a car crash today.
All the people inside of the car are fine, but the car itself is dead.
Car itself would've been worth 2200€, repairs would cost about 3500€.
There was a person trying to get to the petrol station, and they almost hit us, even though the driver swirved to the left, trying to get onto the petrol station, but, since the driver didn't manage to do that (die to the car not being able to do it), he hit a tree at about 30 km/h.
And no, the airbags didn't deploy, even though they should've.
Also, car was a 2004 Opel Vectra Wagon.
Also, for those asking, I fehlt like I was about to sufficate, that's how tight the seatbelt got (wich is actually good, safety wise, I guess)

Nah, at that speed that airbags can do more harm than good.
You gotta remember that there are a lot of factors that go into deciding whether the airbags go off or not.

So I tried AC: Unity on an Xbox One today. It was definitely the worst gaming experience I have ever had.

I can't say exactly what's wrong with it, because everything is wrong with it. Render distance was absolutely tiny, LOD pop-in for NPCs was massive (NPCs sometimes remain as a low poly blur until you literally bump into them), the framerates were noticeably choppy at what seemed like 20-25, it got even worse if you started running where it would have 15 fps and massive stutter. Wait, there's more! There were constant freezes where the game would just stop for a tenth of a second, and there were horrible render artifacts around the player at all times, especially noticeable when turning direction, and I mean REALLY bad. They were even worse on things like fences, where rotating the camera would just cause the whole thing to flicker, A LOT. All while running at 15-20 fps with horrible stutter and freeze spikes.

And the game didn't even look good as a still picture. There are no dynamic shadows, the lighting is bad, texture filtering is mediocre at best, antialiasing is crappy. Not to mention the whole thing is running at 720p.

I had heard it was bad, but... Really? How could anyone even play this at all?

The most ridiculous part is that it's not much better on PC. It still runs horrendously, and the game doesn't even look that good. If it looks good I'd at least understand it running badly (like in The Witcher 3's case).

I saw in a DigitalFoundry benchmark that in a certain busy situation, the PS4 version managed to drop to 6FPS. That's insanely bad. On a personal plus side, the AC games are shit anyway so I never have to worry about performance because I'll never play them.

Well, it's good that no one was hurt.

As for the airbags not deploying; it reminds me of the GMC Safari. (or chevy astro) When I was looking on carcomplaints.com about these vans, I found many cases of the airbags not deploying in serious accidents (including one that was at about 100km/h...) I also found an instance of the airbags deploying in a 5km/h impact in a parking lot... Good job GM...

Yeah, I know. Dual 290X's couldn't max out the game at 1080p and get any more than 30 fps. Dual god damn 290X's. Something's not right there.

And on XO, it just looks like shit. Skyrim, a 4 year old game, looks better on PC high settings, and can run at 1080p 45-60 fps on a mid-end card like a Radeon R7 260X.

I have only briefly played the AC games, never liked them. So yeah, not worried about that either.

I always question people when they say that their airbag didn't go off when it should've. It's a very, very rare problem but you see people talking about how it didn't go off for whatever reason all the time.

Car airbags do expire. Lifespans usually range from 10 to 15 years. The reason manufacturers don't kick up a fuss is because 10 years is all they expect the car to last. The airbag essentially lasts the lifespan of the vehicle but no longer.

There is no circumstance in which an airbag causes more harm than good. Except suffocation or accidental deployment. Do know a guy who's airbags went off on a bumpy road, except 1 that didn't go off.

I like Assassin's Creed, but Ubi's too keen on getting a new establishment out annually, and it definitely crossed a line with Unity.

What Ubi set out to do with Unity gameplay-wise could have been intriguing. And I've heard the revamped combat system lauded by the few people who could get it to work. Sadly, and not unlike with Watch Dogs, most of us may not get to see the game we were shown in the trailers. So, yeah. I count that as a personal loss.

What exactly is it that takes up so much power, though? A well-optimized pathtracer could run better than that (albeit with a rather grainy image).
