We've done some thinking, and we think that members who joined on the first day from the IRC channel should get free copies. And free cookies would also help.
The better idea is : Free demos ... to people who really were there , helping and giving ideas We all know that everybody who is there , and who posts here regularly will surelly buy the game , if this ever came out I say no to free distribution , cause ? They work really really hard to make this , why they need to give us this for free ... If you have a Job you're working there for free ?
I don't agree with getting us free copies, but maybe an extra vehicle or 50% off or something. No matter what I'm paying full for the game, Tom, Gabe and the others definitely deserve it.
Darnit, 1 day late. If the game will have to be paid for, I wonder about how much it would be. Once I find out the price of it (of course once it's released) I'm definately saving up and buying!
how about no? how about we reward the developers for working hard and developing the game by paying for it rather than thinking we're entitled to some charity because we knew about the project early? This is not a charity case, and the developers aren't obliged to reward the consumer. The consumer has not put work into this game and is not entitled to fringe benefits or rewards. Asking is disrespectful. You have no hint of the amount of work that's going into BeamNG. I don't mean to be rude here, but damn. That just sounds greedy.
Did I make it? I want a cookie ._. I like cookies . I have been waiting for a release of a tech demo (even paid for ) for ages now. I really like the look of it. I also think you would have to pay to play as they do work hard
I agree. I think the devs' gratitude is more than enough reward. That, and I think all content made for any game should be made available to everyone.
Seriously, these folks do a lot. Including pay for/run this lovely forum... as well as the old one... I for one, cant wait to BUY a final game on this engine, and contribute to it the best I can. Also, WOOOO SC!
Same, I think I'm gonna have to push myself to learn the basics this time, as opposed to giving up on learning RoR completely. Hopefully when I've got the basics down it'll be easy, but you never know, the game hasn't been released yet. Back on topic, I guess I came a day too late then. The whole concept of the "I was here first, can I have something for it?" seems a bit selfish anyway, and the reward (if any) will have newer members butthurt because they can't have it, and that may eventually lead to forum newbies posting a bunch of "Y I NO CAN HAS BONIS MOD " threads. Do we really want that?
in my opinion if we want to go ahead beamNG and this is a quality product dont really should also reward developers for their eyos trabajao because we're doing one of our dreams? simulator at least this many of us like a dream come true, and I think we should be implemented as minimum section grants, donations support many projects, including here the same as ror sure that if we put all our bit this gets ahead faster with more desire and better quality. and please do not be so brazen to ask for free copies or anything I seem to have very little shame to start now at this point when or even talk that is going to ask anything or nothing has a price and start asking things .. . if you really want to give something that is by her own opinion but do not start asking for things or with favoritism I was before I took more time etc ... I think of young children to start now with these issues. on my part to be created any way to make donations to the first demo and then we'll see the final price of the product or if for example we booked let us now cheaper final price or things like to see what you think
