Can't change graphics settings

Using 0.3.8.3! when i go to settings and change all the graphic settings to make them lower, as my system recommends them as high but it seems to lag a it, i apply them and it asks me to restart the game! not sure if i'm not restarting it correctly or something but when i quit and reopen the came the graphics settings have not changed!

Any help? am i restarting it wrong or is there a way i can go in to the files and change them permanently in there?

maybe, but if i was someone who didn't know better i would have been half way from deleting the game, yes could obviously get it back as it steam but causes a load of hassle for someone who doesn't deserve it and simply wanted some help.

Sharing accounts is not allowed.
In doing this you're also copying the games he owns illegally.

If that screenshot you showed there actually is a screenshot of his account with the correct username, then these are your brothers beamng stats.

I don't think that 312 hours classify as "never playing it".

 

Calling a global moderator and a support team member an asshole because there wss no proof you own the game. That's obviously the first logical thing to do, after he just attempted to help you.

Steam Family Sharing. I share all my games back/forth with my best friend and it's totally legal and allowed.

yeah i said he doesnt play it, but i do, just never on the mbp i tried to play on it today with. hence why i have never encountered this problem before.

I like it when these people get caught. Especially when theyre major douches. Calling Nade, a global mod and highly esteemed forum member, an asshole (because you got caught pirating) is just uncalled for.
